Dear seniors please comment, Is credentials matching a must????When I recieved my PER back in January,it was mentioned in it as follows' It is important for you to learn about the steps you need to take to get your credentials and qualifications recognized in Canada. Citizenship and Immigration Canada recommends that you review the resources on the Foreign Credentials Referral Office's website (www.credentials.gc.ca) and the Department's website (www.cic.gc.ca) for helpful information about living and finding work in Canada. How does one get them assessed,and if not done, does it affect your application?  Getting your education credentials assesed has absolutely no bearing on your application. But I have heard that coming MI5 they're going to make it compulsory to do that while applying. As for you, if your profession is regulated you necessarily have to get your credentials assesed. Otherwise it's optional. Its done by an agency called WEG. You will be fed with all of this info, and more, during your CIIP session All the best! |

Apologies for not updating you all earlier as was traveling a lot last week....I had got my much awaited MR/RPRF/PP on Apr 26th with the ecas showing ‘started processing wef Apr 23rd' ... admin pls update...
Thanks to all..
Need to now prepare the RPRF...should we do that in CAD or INR keeping in mind the much variation in the value ? what do you guys suggest..
