In canada imm site they r telling that.....

The CIO will continue to accept the Application for Permanent Residence in Canada (IMM0008) until March 31, 2012. After that date, only the new version of the Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008) will be accepted and all previous versions will be returned to applicants.

so can i wait till new imm 008 forms

whether i need to send .....Fee Payment Form – Application for Permanent Residence – Federal Skilled Worker

i had submitted following documents
1. processing fee for the child
2. Generic Application Form for Canada IMM 0008 (02-2012) E
3. Additional Family Information IMM 5406 (04-2008) E by the principal applicant
4. Additional Family Information IMM 5406 (04-2008) E by spouse
5. Notarized copy of the child's birth certificate
6. Notarized copy of child's passport
7. two recent passport-size photographs of child

download above forms...and you are done..dont forget to generate barcode after filling complete form IMM 0008....
along with this send dd of Rs.7350/- as per new circular issued by NDVO.....
and send it...

I am very happy for all of you and wish you guys a VERY BEST of life in Canada. I am not sure who all of you will still be active on this forum beyond this point as I am sure all of you would have chores to take care of and understandably will get very very busy planning your and your families relocation.

Whether we meet in Canada or not, I think this forum gave all of us lovely friends. I keep checking this forum to feel good by reading congratulatory notes sent to each other and enriching experiences of all of us.

Again, guys please try and be in touch wherever possible ( and if that is this forum , fantastic) . I know some of us here are disciples of SAI BABA as I am and I am sure he has given great gifts to all of you this year. ( I am waiting for mine... Selfish man , I am ) but I know BABA loves me the way he does to all of you and sooner than later, I will get mine.

Especially RKC and Abhi , I know you guys are very close to BABA. Please pray humbly to BABA for your success in the new land and if there is a little time at hand, please pray for me too .

You know RKC  I read a few of your last posts and let me tell you that if you feel you have not achieved a lot till date, then pat yourself on the back for having the courage and conviction to do something about it. You have taken the first step and always remember its a very brave step. Not bcos you are leaving bollywood and tv stars behind but because you are moving out of your comfort zone and into totally unfamiliar territory. But as they say - the journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.
So be proud of yourself for having taken that first step and succeeded at that. I am sure that if you give your best in Canada, you will achieve all that you ever dreamt of and more. So have faith in yourself and enjoy the ride.

Hey delta, We have a little informal way of talking amongst friends. I was talking about professional achievements here as I am just a home maker. When I was starting out I had my elder one and I was back at home. I have a group of mommy friends from my kids school  all who post graduates in various streams, MBAs , doctors, engineers but  stay- at -home mom by choice. This to some extent is a  by product of nuclear family culture & husbands doing well so the family can do without the extra income.

In our case, Canada was made to happen just for our kids. We are very well settled here already so it's was kind of tough to take a call . If I get into something I feel very restless till it get's done. I have always been proud & confident about myself.

If we can make it here, we can make it there too. Thank you for your beautiful words.

For me, 'achievement' is a very big word, it means to be extraordinary. Sachin Tendulkar, Dhirubahi, Steve Jobs, Gates , Warren Buffet are achievers. All self made people who made it big despite all odds are ' Achievers' for me. Their graph ascends like a shooting star heading up north. I absolutely admire them.

I wish you good luck in your future endeavors.

Hey RKC same situation here.Guess when it comes to women no matter how ambitious or educated they are kids are first priority.Having  a professional degree and a successful career I still believe my two boys are my biggest achievements .I also have been swaying back and forth between being a homemaker and a practicing dentist.Having a settled life here in our country it is also very difficult for us to take a step like this but as you said it ,its for our kids ......May everyone including you dearest RKC have a wonderful , bright future in Canada ....Amen! ........Enjoy a +1

Just that, everyone has their own reasons of immigrating , like Ravi is going there only for his GF.
Mothers are all same everywhere, they will leave no stone unturned for their kids. They are the first priority.
I somewhat understand your reasons of immigrating even after having a well settled life. That is one of my concern too.
I hope you have a speedy processing.

Love  this post, its really close to my heart. I would do anything for my children
