GOSH.......Tunguska29....this is a SHOCKING piece of news  If I remember correctly, you had mentioned sometime back that your friend's PP was not traceable at NDVO and that he rcvd a call from them asking to re-submit his PPs? Do update us about his case too. It will help. You also had apprehensions about the same (your passports not reaching VO) and had some queries which we had tried to answer to the best our knowledge. May I ask what was the basis of those apprehensions? Why were you thinking that your passports might not have rchd NDVO? I just want to rule out any exceptions that might have led you to think like that, so that we can have a clearer picture by process of elimination. Anyway now that you have rcvd a communication from them, please provide a few details so we can help you out. 1) Had you not sent your DD and your passports in the same package? 2) Your package was delivered on 7th of March and your DD was encashed on 10th of March? 3) What communication came to you? Did they ask you to submit new passports? I hope all goes well here Tunguska29. This is horrfying!! |

In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require Valid passport or travel document for yourself. This must be received at this office by: 05/07/2012
Failure to submit them within that time period could result in the refusal of your application. Please quote our complete file number on your correspondence and address your correspondence to the High Commission at the address indicated below.
PLEASE RETURN THIS FORM WITH THE REQUESTED DOCUMENTS.

Thats true YH....Ditto happened to my friend,,that is exactly y i was concerned about my PP getting misplaced...
His PP has been found by the CHC though.They bungled it at their own level..and hes waiting for his PP to get stamped,his DD was encashed on 27th of January i guess..
my concern here is that it might lead to months of delay in my case,even if they find my PP

that so sad dear..!! but that's something unusual...!! I have never heard NDVO asking for DD and passport separately  I sent everything all together in a bunch DD, Medicals fee receipt and that one form given by my physician and Original passport..together..!! Honestly speaking I didn't hear from anybody that one has to submit DD first and passport later..  Hope you get your passport soon.. I am sure it must be lost in the mountains of documents When VO people will dig it, they'll get it..! |
