AN UPDATE FROM LVO
I emailed a case specific enquiry and LVO replied to me "your application awaits the results of routine background checks."
Now a routine background checks can be within 2 weeks or could be 6 months. CIC have no control on the results of routine background checks timeline. We only can hope for the best and a quick process.
I dont understand as we assume that background checks should be completed before medical has been arrived. What does this mean, it means they are sending medicals before background checks. Seniors what ur opinion. Please comments. |

Also i remember some post where someone mentioned about buying an old bmw after reaching canada.
My advise would be that since its only CAD4500, it has to be a really old model and the repairs on a brand like bmw will cost you a lot. Instead go in for something which is not that old and which is a cheaper brand. I guess when you first arrive, you want something cheap and reliable.
Go with honda or toyota. Cant go wrong. Also the mileage will be better thus saving you on monthly fule bills.
Just a suggestion.

Routine Background Checks after MR?? I thought it was done before MR. And only the security check remains to be done after MR. |

I think they are referring to security checks, but of course they will not spoon feed us the information nor will they share with us details of their process. BTW, this is a definit proof that they are working on several MIs simoultaneously! |
