Hi vinpar n wandering soul My medical received line appeared after 22 days of them receiving my reports actually..this process is very frustrating .. No transparency ! No Means to know the status  just endless wait Brother but in this case this forum has helped me a lot...to know that I am not alone who is tired of waiting...!! Don't worry we all are here with you...cheer up..  by the way can anyone tell me how to find out that our DD IS ENCASHED OR NOT? Mine is State bank of India |

Mine is State bank of India Hi wandering soul , just contact the SBI and they will tell you whether the DD has been presented by the beneficiary customer care can give you the details as well. |

also, how long it will take from London Office to contact me and how i will know if they receive my application ? i understand that there is no exact timeline for this but if I received my PER on 02/02/2012, does it mean that the VO has received my file or not yet Thanks |

Yes mohammad , it means that your have made it to the cap and it also means you score more or equal to 67 points.. PER itself means positive eligibility review and that is done only if you r in the cap so enjoy this success for now |

you are right.... this forum has been very helpful to know we are not alone... Name of the game is patience!!! and wait (easier said than done). My DD was also from SBI. Go to ur bank and tell them the date it was taken and DD #, etc or if you took xerox copy of the DD). They will tell you when it was cleared. When I took the DD I asked them the process and the guy was nice enough to give his office number ..so that I need not go to the bank just for this. So I called to check the status (and I did not call him everyday.. I did not want to bug him ).
