I don't know whats wrong with CIO, even my application reached on 22nd Aug but my ecase shows 23rd Aug as application received date ! Hortons, pls change to my application received date to 23 Aug as well. Thanks. Turned you blue Patty. Your story sounds similar to that of melkhatib. His courier had a delivery date of 2nd sept but CIO said it reached on 6th Sept. I had to correct your date to 6th which is more relevant at this point though we do not know what goof up happened at CIO during that time. Anyways, I am glad you are in even though it was late.
Yes, it is common for PER to take this long. The longest we had is 119 days from the time your appn was received.

Wow, by this speed , 2121 will close by end of this month !
May be mid to late october because 5th dec updates included mid sept applicants like Your Highness. I am assuming CIO is currently working on last week of sept applicants. Now, the number will go up quicker with the 631 capped. There will be more concentration on 3112, 3113 and 2121. And the next one to be capped is 2121. I am nervous. |

I know you are right. Mine was received on the 30th of august but ECAS shows the 31 of August and in process.. So please can someone change mine too as well.Thanks. Another thing is that ECAS are not updated very often i think cause mine shows when you scroll down the page " Date Modified: 2011-09-19" |

Yes my dear, this means that you are defenetly at RBVO stage at least.
The format of the mail tells me that it is a standard letter they send out (lot of my colleagues are English, I know how they think and forgive me for stereotyping), point is you don't have to worry much about the talk of processing time, and the aor. You will receive your MR soon enough.
They said that the address will not change on ecas and i trust that it will not.
Let me know if you need more clarifications,
I guess it is a little different with every VO. Buffalo is not issuing AORs anymore but I sent an address change & new employment request using the online VO specific case enquiry form for buffalo and got 1) an email acknowledgement of the request. I think this is an automated response. 2) Further to it, they also changed the address on the ecas which I was not expecting them to do. Now, I know that application is in the VO. Thanx 4 ur reply. How does one get 2 know whether their file is being actually processed ? Does the address always disappear from ECAS when they r working on a file ? My ECAS has been static, no disappearance of the add, no RBVO etc. And belated b'day wishes 2 u dear. U'll be celebrating ur next one in Canada !!!
ECAS is not very upto date and you may not know when your file is being processed. In the past, address disappearance was followed by changes to your ecas status but not mandatory. |

Thanks for all the responses. Problem is I am a Dentist and most Dental clinics don't really issue any formal offer letter or Experience letters. Infact my salary was also issued by cash in hand. Luckily I have been able to get letters with all the details mentioned. Hope that will be enough.
