I have sent my application on 13th sep 2011 by indian speed post but due to postal delay it took 17 days to reach CIO. I had tough time during this period. I approached higher authorities for my application package delay as i was affraid of loosing my package. Finally a niceman from delhi post office helped me to find it and send it to canada nd i am thankful to him. I advice all my friends not to use Indian post for sending imp. Documents. I came to knw that DHL is trustworthy for this purpose. I hope it will help others to avoid unnecessary delays.

BTW, immigration officers have the power to accept an application even if the points do not add up to 67, if they feel that the candidate is needed in Canada.

Crane operators will have smooth sailing for sure! I don't find your PER surprising at all.

I have sent an email enquiry to CIO on 16/11/11. Yesterday i got reply from CIO as:


Dear Sir/Madam:

Please be advised that we currently have no record of your submission.  However, it could be in the queue for initial processing.  If you wish to submit a status enquiry in 3-4 weeks, a further search can be done.

Thank you for your interest in Canada.

Thanks for the good wishes. I am sure that we all who have desired to be there, will one day make it through. Sooner or later, ahead or behind others, we are all going in the same direction and Inshallah will reach our destination as long as God has destined it for us.

I also appreciate those who are managing and updating the status on the spreadsheet for each individual, as they are helping many of us to see our status and analyse where we stand and what next can be the possible outcome.

Yeah, somebody asked how I got this MR. Infact initially I got an email with the scanned letter of MR request. They also mentioned that they have couriered required documents for medical, which I am expecting to receive in the next couple of days.

Now it shows that CIC is really going paperless. when you have your MR, I think you can take a print out and go to DMP for medicals. All the very best. Have fun bro. and Good luck for the smooth processing till you have your maple leaf on the Passport.

I think manila vo will send mr's on January..I think thay have a lot of christmas party as early as december 10, christmas parties are all over the phils ..Im sure most of the officers will be on leave for about 2 weeks..most of our doctors will be on leave starting dec 19 and will come back to the philippines after new year..

Is is true that mr will be sent through email??coz my agency said they wont release any mr's if the agency fee is not fully completed..(50k + 30k)

yes Dear its true if u have provided them yr email address.
Moreover u can allways request yr visa office through email to send yr MR AND OTHER DOCUMENTS directly to u and not to yr agent. Its yr legal right.
