Dear All,
Please confirm if a letter issued by 'National Savings Center' can considered as a 'Proof of Fund' or not?
I have invested funds in Regular Income Certificate at National Savings Center. I have asked the Manager he says that we do issue letter like a bank stating that Mr___ has invested ____ amount with National Savings Center Pakistan etc.
My question is that, is this letter, issued from national Savings Center, can be used as a proof of funds for Immigration purpose? Or i have to get a letter from a BANK?

Dear Roposh it is clearly stated on Canadian immigration site that you can bring as much money as you can in the form of: cash securities in bearer form (for example, stocks, bonds, debentures, treasury bills) or negotiable instruments in bearer form (for example, bankers' drafts, cheques, travellers' cheques or money orders). Also please not that national Saving certificates are issued by the Govt. of Pakistan in my opinion you can use these as a proof of funds.

Hello Friends / fellows ! Any update from those applicant who got there E-Case status "In process" in May 2011. Addition docs ask for or any type of email...........or anything? I am IP on 31st May 2011, but still no update. Send email to London Visa office on 06 Sep 2011 but no reply found from them  Dear following is my time line NOC 7242, 9222, 0911 App Filed CIO 19-March-2010 First AOR 19 May 2010 Case Tran LVO 26 may 2010 Documents Sent 20 June 2010 2nd AOR 27 July 2010 IP status since 27 July 2010 there is a long list of people waiting for there turn. London Visa office a little bit slow in fact. What is your NOC Shahid |

Dear Roposh
it is clearly stated on Canadian immigration site that you can bring as much money as you can in the form of:
cash

Dear Roposh, Definitely you can use this as POF , as they can readily be converted into cash any time.. National savings will issue you your account statement showing your net investment on your request and will be provided to you in a week or so after your request.. Thanks WS |
