can any one tell me what documts submit to cio sydny ns canada. i have filled all forms. is it nessesarry to submit transript of dgree or any orognal documents to send cio. plz any one tell me i m waiting

Few Questions for Applicants from PAKISTAN specially about Notarization Q3 & Q4 ......
1- My experience letters are now around 06 months old as I got them before sending application to CIO. Do I need to get them again with current date? Or its okay? Any idea?
2- My PCC are 3.5 old now. Should I get them again as well?
3- All copies of my documents are notarized. But the person who notarized the documents did not write the sentences as mentioned in EG7 guide that "Its a true copy of the document". Should I write myself?
4- The notarizing person also did not put any date with his signature as he mentioned that they dont write the date on documents
(although he mentioned the date on his record register). Should I put the date by myself under his signature? Which date should I mention? Current date or the actual date when he stamped all the papares (that I even dont remember exactly and i am out of my home country now).
Please guide

I think you should get a new updated letter with new details

put a stamp of TRUE Copy

Its good if you can easily get new one's with current date but if not then these are ok. Make sure salary, job duties and date of joining mentioned in the reference letters.
2- My PCC are 3.5 old now. Should I get them again as well? Get new one. For CIC, PCC should not be more than 3 months old.

New tougher Canada laws to curb illegal immigration
Canada, 25th October: The Canadian government has unveiled new tougher laws to control illegal immigration in the nation.
This will be done by introducing stiff penalties for those involved in human smuggling. Moreover, the federal government has also stated of detaining asylum seekers in Canada.
The main aim will be to crack down on those involved in human smuggling in Canada leading to their prosecution.
Some of the new measures include compulsory detention of human smugglers extending up to 10 years, prison sentences, a waiting period of five years for illegal immigrants wanting to make application for permanent residency in Canada, terminated refugee applications for those returning to their native nation for holidays and holding ship operators and ship owners to make them accountable for using ships in illegal Canada immigration.
The announcement about the new Canada immigration laws for punishing the guilty of illegal immigration in Canada was made by Vic Toews, Canada's Public Safety Minister and Canadian immigration minister Jason Kenney in Vancouver on Thursday.
The new law states that anyone found to be involved in smuggling of more than 50 people to Canada for monetary reasons while risking his or her own life will have to spend 10 years in jail.
Mr. Toews stated clearly that Canada will not allow abuse of its immigration system either by people smugglers or those not willing to abide by Canada immigration rules.
The new stiffer and harsher penalties for human smugglers in response to the growing human smuggling activities in Canada which proved that Canada is being targeted by human smuggling networks, Toews.
The government of Canada had been promising tougher legislations ever since the officials caught a ship with 500 Tamils on B.C. coast this August. Almost a year ago, around 72 Sri Lankan Tamils had landed on Canada border. All such migrants have asked to be provided refugee status in Canada.
The officials say they have struggled for a long time to put together the rules that were approved by the Canadian PM (Prime Minister) Stephen Harper and cabinet.
The government of Canada stated that it will have to act tough or will be at risk of losing public support for Canada's generous refugee and immigration system.

0213 is no more eligible after 26 June 2010 change in NOC for FSW program, in above list most of people in 0213 NOC are who applied before 26 June 2010 change |

I found Hinajamal and Salmanahm with status updated to ''Verification''. After recieving 2nd AOR how would one know that verification has been started as I found dates mentioned under verification column for Hina nd Salman- what does that mean? Did both recieve any letters from London VO telling their verification has been started, interesting thing to note that they e-cas status is still Rcvd by Visa Office. Let us know plz so that we start checking things at our end carefully. Thnks.

No dear CIC never do informed verification, they conduct on random basis. VO only get the things verified on which he has doubt in some cases educational documents, in some cases experience and in some cases many things. depending upon the quality & authenticity of your documents. I am sure they must have confirmed the verification from their present employer. |
