Today my status changed to DM. Previously it was IP with date. I am shocked to see this. I think no one faced such situation before, DM after processing date. normally people got Processing date and DM at the same time. But in my case DM came more than 2.5 months. Really upset....

It is unbelievable what you saying about the DM did you open your e-case with the old file # or the new one from CHC, also can you please post the exact e-case lines here, you are right it never happened with any one after getting this line in the e-case "we reviewed your application and started processing on ......" also email the CHC right away

I think what 0213 means to them is :

A person who is incharge and managing some tasks all by himself.

Another important factor is that there should be some team or group of people under you. some people who are reporting to you.
like can you sign in section in-charge place of leave application of other team members?

'Assisting' and 'interacting' is a very humble word as compared to a strong word as 'Leading' , 'overall managing', 'responsible'.

It is also important to mention to whom you are reporting to.

Managing the recruiting process is one thing. and being a decision maker in recruitment process is another thing. or at least you should be in a position without whose consent new recruitment is impossible.

planning and doing some tasks is one thing. and assigning tasks to other team members is another thing.


In nut shell first of all my intention is not to discourage you. secondly in my opinion it will be useless to appeal. thirdly i want to highlight that before applying we should all see the NOC very critically and in depth meaning that what they actually want. Be very specific, to the point, definite, avoid vague words and most important be bold while writing JD or requesting your employer to write your job description.

They simply need Managers. not workers or programmers or developers.

i may be wrong but that is my thought.

your designation does not matter. what matters is are you lead of some section or not. where you are responsible for overall tasks.

same i thing apply to finance mangers too.

I second your comment, Providing technical leadership, Assisting in the planning and implementation, Supervise and provide work direction to support staff, Managing budgets, Managing purchase, recommending  management and helping them to implement IT related policies etc. are some of the examples which was used in my JD letter....

Yaar bas wait hi karo aur dua karo.Email to filhal na hi karo abhi.Aj kal CHC London ka demag kharab hua hai yh na ho wo koi aur documents request mang lain ya phir gusay main 6 to 12 month wait letter bhayj daiyn.

i have a request guys can you please stop talking other stuff and get serious on other situations like Usman799 case the poor guy is in trouble and need some research because it is serious stuff now that after getting in to In-process and then getting DM we thought that In-process with date is almost approval for the case before which documents are checked and points calculated, any findings or comments about this situation, it means people don't have to get excited after the e-case turns into In-process

here is my E-CAS;

We received your application for permanent residence on October 14, 2009.
 
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on December 16, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

decision made occur yesterday after 2.5 months. I don't think so they sent me any letter, because in reply of inquiry on 22nd April they replied "my file is in process, no action is required form you". i didn't get any letter so far. is it safe to send inquiry again as i sent inquiry 2 weeks ago.

that's why, i am shocked how IP with date can turn into DM. I was also assuming that at least my paper screening has done and E-CAS is showing processing date.

Interaction is here in the sense to co-ordinate with other teams. You don't manage the other teams.

There is clear indication in the JD that i was in charge of my team, and was responsible for planning their tasks, supervising the tasks,  their annual reviews.

Manage the recruiting process implies that I was responsible for the whole process, from initial scrutiny, interview, and final selection.

There is only one assistance for development of Configuration Management policies,

There is no harm in applying for appeal or re-assessment even if there is a slight chance.

Could you please guide me the process.

Well that is unique one... I guess he should wait for letter, might be its mistakenly changed to DM...
