I've just received the reply from LVO on my inquiry.

Dear Sir / Madam,

Thank you for your enquiry.

Please be advised that a letter was sent on 19 April 2012 to the mailing address on file.

We ask that you wait for the mail to arrive before requesting any further information.

Yours sincerely,

Immigration and Medical Services Division | Direction de l'immigration et des services médicaux

My status had changed from InProcess to Decision Made on 24th April. However my ecas details are still same as in RBVO. My status never went into RBVO it was InProcess when I received my 2nd AOR.

Ecas details don't have the processing date neither it mentions that the decision has been made.

Please note that the reply from visa office is sent from "Immigration and Medical Services Division". Do I still have any chance or is it a rejection as I read on this forum somewhere that this division is responsible for sending out medicals.

I will appreciate your comments.

Thanks,

Shiraz

Shiraz keep your hopes alive till you get letter as per below quote.... God will inshallah help ....

I have a question and it's very important because Canadian immigration takes a lot of time and it's hard to maintain the funds for that long in the banks because Pakistani currency loose a value every day and when the Canadian asks for updated documents they also ask for POF.
My case turned into in-process and soon (I hope) they will ask for POF which I already deposited in the bank, what if I get the request soon and I have sudden deposit in a month will it effect my case? if I don't provide the six months old bank statement and just provide one month old statement, I expect this answer from all of but not one person. Thank you

As I read on the forums, if VO specifically asks for bank statement then it is needed otherwise bank certificate can suffice the purpose.

Moreover, on this, I would also like to ask senior members, can't we put a covering letter even if a large amount transaction is made in account... e.g. I had my savings in gold, I sold it and attached are the receipts OR I have XYZ property and that is sold, attach are the proofs etc. etc.  Please confirm if any one got any idea as if this can help, problem for many people may get resolve...

Only One sentence comes to mind after reading this whole letter and especially the line ''We hope the information will be of assistance'' and the sentence is

HUN ARAM EECheers

Ya Cuccoo It is indeed a "hun Araam EE" case for us..... I was constantly searching for any info available for these 6-12 months letters and yesterday I found this and pasted the link on StarAli's other forum as we, who received these letters, are also feeling hanged in the middle ... atleast this info can give us a sigh of relief for now... however not one can predict what is next after 6-12 months Smiley .... Only we can pray from God as He got all the powers to turn things our way.... Inshallah.....

Let me explain you the whole situation. The DM is story is not new. This happened to me in 2010 when I submitted my complete documents within 120 days timeline and received official 2nd AOR in July 2010. After expiration of 120 days somewhere near September 2010, I believe, my e-case was changed to DM. Within a week of change in e-case I received a letter of refusal due to non-compliance with 120 days submission time. My consultant shoot an email attaching copy of 2nd AOR to London. Thereafter he received an email accepting their oversight. But since then till Oct 2011, there was no change in my e-case it remained DM in spite of my frequent inquiries over status update. In Oct 2011 they removed DM and replaced this with IP (one line). "We started processing your case on July 2010". Which was again wrong because this was the date of my 2nd AOR and not actual processing thereon. Now even I have received 6 to 12 month wait letter there is no change in my e-case. Long story and enough for today.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

In my opinion this should work - a covering letter stating the large amount of incoming funds; details, selling gold etc.

Let see what others respond!

I think they got Ex. pakistani electricity department's billing staff to update ecase status  Tongue... anyhow, that means your case is totally different than what we were assuming... this is all about wrongly updating and overseeing your docs/timelines etc... It has nothing to do with current DM cases  Sad ... May God help us all

Ya with the passage of time and with the help of this forum, I have a strong believe now that they dont have some hard and fast guidelines... Anything that is logical and make sense can be explained to them... rest seniors will confirm Smiley

Dear Arsh Ali and kkhan if you not have an update 6 month bank statement then you should have long terms bank saving statement in the form of National special saving certificate it must be showned from your processing date  to till date
