By the grace of Allah Almighty today I have received Medical Request and RPRF request. They also asked me to submit some forms. Letter is date 29-02-2012 and I received it today via ordinary post.

A new line is also added in my ecas.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on February 28, 2012.

    To my shocking pleasent surprise I received medical on 06-03-2012. Thanks to Almighty Allah (swt)  
Also I need to send updated forms. Police certificate and fee for RPRF.

Dear you can carry on your medical examination on current passport . you will nenew your passport after medical would be the better option,

Dear farhan,
UCI no is different from File number.
UCI:12345678 number.
and it remain same after first AOR received in shape of email. even u received the 2 AOR and even a new file number also assigned by VO. but UCI will remain same.
So find it at the top of the mails (email and letters) received from VO.

I am also not being able to locate my UCI. Nothing mentioned on my 2nd AOR or MR request letter too except actual file number. I have seen one written on top of the first email reply that I received from CIC, format is B012345678 while format of my actual immigration file number is also same i.e., B012345678. Can you plz further specify where to locate this UCI?

Hi Seniors,
   I need to appear in medical examination and my passport has been expired. should I first get new passport before appearing in medical or can I go with my expired passport? Any Suggestions. Do they check expiry date?

I have a similar situation like you, Yesterday me and my family appeared for the Meds, no one at DMP noticed about the validity of the passport, infact they seems to use passport as a valid means to recognize you. So in case if you have still not appeared in the Meds, hurry and get an early date. As far your new passport is concerned that you can mention in the Docs and updated Forms that you have to send.

I think they are pointing out backlog of Pre-Feb 2008 and not about the files logged under ministerial instruction. Well lets pray that they dont consider an option of erasing backlog by legislation, because then there will be no option of appealing against their decision in the court.
