Dear brothers and sisters
Congratulations for whom having +ve changes and sorry for those who got rejection.
I have a question, which was answered before but when I look at those whom got updated request and medical I got confused.
Regarding PCC are you updating only the last country you are residing or all of them all over again. For me I had been to 6 countries and I really had a hard time obtaining them the first time.

Hi obviosuly PCC are required to clarify that one has not been in any criminal activity. And are only required for the place your have been living for at least last 6 months. Therefor no need for the second PCC from every country you have lived before. Only current country of living is applicable, where you are currently residing.

Earlier I was in Pakistan but in beginning of February 2012 I have got an employment here in UAE and I am working here now on employment visa (3 years visa) .
Also I have asked them which documents they would need from my side to upgrade my file. Moreover I requested them that I don't intend to change my mailing address as the one i gave with the initial application is my permanent residence address and my family still lives there and they can receive any correspondence from CHC on my behalf .
I am a pre-june applicant  under 4131 and my other details are herewith already. I would appreciate if anyone has any suggestions for me. Much thanks.

Hi I am also in the same scenario. I applied from Abroad, and went back to Pakistan. Than again I got job abroad and that time I have already received my 2 AOR. Recently I am based out of Pak. and I have updated due to change in my family composition-a child birth. but I have not updated my address.

Once you receive 2 AOR with New file# from LVO. You can send address change if you want to receive the mail from CHC on that address or you need to update if any family composition change OR

You want to withdraw the application. Otherwise you only update info once they ask you to do so.....coz your application goes in process....and avoid to email/write them any thing unless they ask you to do so....

Wait for their letter you will be eligible to appeal eithe at Immigration Adjudication Division (IAD) or Federal Court of Canada depending on the case but it will be better to hire a immigration lawyer to file an appeal.

Proof of Relatives in Canada

We r aware that we can get Five [5] additional points on a/c of "adaptability" if having "relatives" in Canada. But, many a times, while having a 'bonafide' relative residing here, we yet shortcut the paperwork [for whatever reasons] - and get into trouble... either those 5 points r not awarded, or we go into delays due to repeated queries from the VO. Here's what we should understand & do:

Who r the Acceptable Relatives?
Proof of relationship showing u, or your accompanying spouse/common-law partner has a close relative who lives in Canada and is a Canadian Citizen or PR. This close relative can be:
• parent, grandparent,
• child, grandchild,
• brother, sister,
• aunt, uncle, or
• niece, nephew.

Proof of "Relationship"
Having one of the above, we now must submit adequate docs to "show" the 'proof of relative' if we want to seriously get those points, which might sometimes 'make' or 'break' our case. This "Proof" is required in Three (3) Steps. Here's how u go about it:

1. BASIC EVIDENCE OF RELATIONSHIP:
Proof of relationship to your close relative in Canada can be evident by docs, such as (A)birth, (B)marriage or (C)adoption certificates. For eg, to prove that your relative in Canada is your paternal aunt, it would be necessary to submit copies of birth certificates for her and for your father showing they have at least one common parent.

2. WHAT DOCUMENTS NEEDED AS PROOF?
• If s/he is a PR: provide a copy of Record of Landing (IMM 1000) or CPR [COPR] or PR Card.
• If s/he is a Citizen: provide Citizenship proof, such as a copy of Canadian passport or Citizenship card.

3. HOW TO PROVE RELATIVE IS 'CURRENTLY INSIDE' CANADA?
Provide evidence to show that your relative is currently residing inside Canada. This may include copies of:
• Lease agreements [Rental Contracts],
• A current Notice of Assessment from Revenue Canada,
• An Employer's Letter confirming employment,
• Monthly Utility Bills [Telephone, Mobile, Cable, Gas etc.].

Note:
- The evidence should show the relative's "name" and "full address" in Canada.
