Note: Due to the high volume of applications we receive, the CIO cannot review each application for completeness on the same day it arrives at the office. The numbers on this page are updated at least once a week, but these figures are meant as a guide only. There is no guarantee that an application sent in now will fall within the cap by the time it reaches the CIO. We are looking into ways to minimize the effect of this on website updates.
Applications received from PhD applicants:

Applications received toward the overall cap: 37 of 1,000 as of January 9, 2011

Naseha

The CHC LDN will process our case through following steps (Pre June 2010 applicants )

1. Issue an Update request for DOCs and show Processing started date in E case
2. Review our case and complete our background checks (3-5 months time required)
3. Issue medical request if found eligible
4. Issue Step 1 letter for Visa (3-5 months after medical report submitted )
5. Issue Passport request ( after 4-6 weeks of step 1 letter sent to CHC )

So please let me conclude that when we receive an update request after that i will take 10 months or more to get visa stamp on our passport. So friends we still have long way to go !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please try wake CHC Ldn as ASAP to start process our cases.

Please correct friends if I made mistake in above points !!

Agreed with Azmat. The situation is very unclear about future of MI 1 applicants. By lloking at various immigration forums, we can see movement in files of pre-C50, ottawa case pilot, MI2 &3. But there is very negligible movement in files of MI 1 applicants in particular for London VO. But situation is different in some VO like Ankara where they dont have significant or no inventory for pre-c50 applcants. London Vo is worst case and we are in this ......... Angry

1. U may correspond with your VO intermittently.
2. Expect meds around 24-30 months from the date your complete package was sent to the VO [not apps date].
3. Not necessarily... 2010 cases usually will run for 36+ months.

Please also see what Qorax replied to my recent post about Pre June applicants processing time with reference to CHC LDN

Your assessment seems to be quite correct , if considering current trend of MI-1,   processing  .
