I am wondering no one in this forum got "In Process" status in July, and only 5 got in process status in the month of June. CHC London must be sleeping

May be they want to clear these applications before getting more into process

I have done Bsc & Msc in Biology then worked for a biological research organization as biologist for two years. Afterthat i got married and resign from job and started teaching a biology teacher to O & A level school till last month and resign recently. I am qualifying above 67 marks.

one of my relative is working with a immigration consultant and said me you are not eligible to apply because you are not working in your skill list since 4 year and not doing any job right now.

No one knows this exactly , may be you got different results becoz you are a 2009 applicant.

GCMS is the new system that will eventually replaced the CAIPS system. Its not available at all visa offices right now. When we request the CAIPS file from CIC, they are providing us with either the CAIPS or the GCMS file depending on its availability.We cannot guarantee it will be CAIPS or GCMS file.

I am submitting my new born baby application form to CHC London. Before final submission I was looking at Visa Office Specif Instructions on the below link

There is form in that document with the name of Supplementary Information Your Travels. Should I also submit that form along with my baby's application. You suggestion is required

A competition will be held to staff the position of Consular Assistant on a permanent basis in the consular section of the Canadian High Commission in Islamabad. This position is classified at Level LE06, with a salary of PKR 69,933 per month, plus health care and other benefits.

This competition is open to all persons legally residing in Pakistan.The Government of Canada is an equal opportunity employer.

Summary of Duties:

Under the direction of the LES Senior Consular Officer, processes passports applications and citizenship documents for Canadian citizens abroad; provides consular support services to Canadians; financial and accounting services in support of consular, passport and citizenship services provided at the mission, assists Canada Based Staff in consular matters; and performs other duties.

Essential Requirements:

University graduation from a recognized institution (14 years of education).
Demonstrated English language skills, (subject to testing or evidence of certification).
Demonstrated effective communication skills in French, and Urdu languages (written & oral).
Strong computer skills in a Windows-based work environment.
Minimum of (2) years work experience in a strong client service environment.
Rated Qualifications:

Strong detail orientation.
Knowledge of general office procedures and practices.
Knowledge of software packages.
Excellent planning, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of other languages (Pashtu, Dari, Punjabi and other local languages).
