Friends I sent query to London Visa Office after 8 months passed to my 2nd AOR letter. I asked them how long further it will take... here is the response that I just got.
This is in response to your enquiry.
Unfortunately, it will take longer to process Federal Skilled Worker applications submitted under the first set of instructions (between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010) than originally projected.
During this time, the department received applications for more than 425,000 people, and 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision.
This number represents more than twice the number of projected admissions under the Federal Skilled Worker program in 2011, so many of these applicants will have to wait two years or more to be processed. Because they reflect Canada's current labour market needs, applications under the most recent set of ministerial instructions are processed on a priority basis.
Our office sends immigration decisions and information requests by post or by email to the mailing and email addresses provided in the application. Therefore, it is important that our office be notified immediately of any change of address and contact details.
We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.
Yours sincerely,
You are the only one who have received that kind of reply whereas many others have recently emailed to cic and got different text in the replies.

Thats the point..GOOD Catch Humayun !!! , they are not fool enough to leak such kind of info. I suspect the info spread with an intention to make people run after Consultants othervise The letter format doesnt seem a professional one nor Canadian have enough time to document stories on their letters carrying confidential info. Canada1234/Pittabread ...Plz provide with your expert opinion !

Irrelevant ReplyHi all,
Today I got a weird reply from CHC London to my query is my case is really in-process or not? as In-process date is not reflecting in Ecas since my case turns to IP from RBVO in Jan'11, its really a predicament for me as I am anxiouly waiting for my case to be processed, and still I am uncertain about my case status, I am a Nov'09 applicant, though my NOC is not in current 29 highrise NOCs, but they should give us the real picture rather than these pathetic replys which has nothing to do with my straightforward query, Yes or No.
Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for your enquiry. As of April 1, 2010, applications for permanent residence under the Economic categories for citizens or residents of Pakistan will be processed by our office in London, UK. The economic categories are comprised of Federal skilled Workers, Federal Investors, Self-Employed, Entrepreneurs, Provincial Nominees and Quebec-selected Permanent Workers and Business People. Although Islamabad will continue processing a few applications that are close to completion, the majority are being transferred to London. The file transfer of existing permanent residence applications under the Economic categories is currently underway.
Your application has been transferred and will be processed in London, please be advised that our office will contact you when we are in a position to begin processing your application. Please wait until this time before providing any new information relating to changes in your personal circumstances, additional dependents, new employment, education or new identity documents.
At this point, it is too early to tell what the new processing times will be for these cases in London. We regret that we cannot provide a schedule for the assessment of files and that our office cannot provide status updates at this time.
Our office sends immigration decisions and information requests by post or email to the mailing address or email address provided in the application. Therefore, it is important that our office be notified immediately of any change of address or email address. Please also notify us if you would like to withdraw your application. For all other updates, wait until you are contacted by our office.
We thank you for your patience during this transition period and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.
Yours sincerely,

Canada1234/Pittabread ...Plz provide with your expert opinion ! @ VevaAs we all know that cic is currently dealing with the post june 2010 applicants on priority basis & they are replying this thing in their email replies. Pre-june 2010 applicants are on temporary hold and they might get finalised in 2 years time period. In general, if we look at the reply it reflects the same timeline of 2 years as we are expecting. First of all, this email reply looks pretty suspicious because it is very different from others secondly, cic don't give statistics details in the replies . That kind of general queries are handle by lower clerical staff who use to send stereotype replies which we've seen before. CIC won't let the applicants in despair by sending these kind of replies. It might be a consultant gimmick or self guiled reply.

Before February 2008 normal processing time was 72 months. So you can count the number of months when the applicant applied. Let say if someone applied in october 2005, till date he has passed 66 months. Next 6-12 months would surely decide about his/her destiny. If their is any complication in the case then it may get scrutinise and take further few months. Before February 2008, cic worked like that. 30% of cases in let say 36 months, 50% of cases in 48 months , 70% of cases in 60 months and finally 80% of the cases in 72 months. They picked the files randomnly & I've seen the majority of the cases from Pakistan got finalised 5-6 years. I would advise 2005 applicants that they need little more patience and don't get panic.

Yes bother I can understand. It was very heart breaking for me as well. My purpose is to share information so we all stay as much informed as possible. So far only I got such a detail reply, may be in near future some other applicant get this sort of reply. I believe things should start moving for 2009 applicant. once medicals start pouring in then "Hamara number bhi aa hi jai ga". Inshallah we all will stay in touch in difficult time. may be things start changing soon. we need to keep each other informed what ever news we have or what ever we can do. dEAR Mr. Ali Zafar,

We put our legs in this mess once they promised us faster immigration within 6 to 12 months. If it would be more than that who would block the original docs for 2 years. See the link below http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/backgrounders/2008/2008-11-28.aspWhat the Action Plan for Faster Immigration's instructions mean for applicants
Federal skilled worker applications received on or after February 27, 2008, will now be assessed for eligibility according to the criteria set out in the instructions. If an application does not meet the criteria, it will not be processed, and the application fee will be fully refunded. New federal skilled worker applicants, including those with arranged employment, should receive a decision within six to 12 months.
Now for a new reader 6 to 12 months include all the process from CIO to VISA. Most of us have applied in CIO in 2009 and its already more than one year. This is totally unacceptable and I am about to write to them that either you tell me the time OR I will withdraw my application and file a law suite against you. @ Veva
