o D company CMMS (Computerized Machine and Maintenance System)
Other Areas:
o Plant site LAN management
o Plant site WAN management linked with Head office and other remote sites
o Plant site Emails management
o Plant site browsing/internet access management
Managing Database Replication with central database of 11g and 9i on different units due to long distance. Also Replication of data with Head office Database 10g.
Backups and recovery of the Databases using RMAN.
Performances and tuning of the Database using different techniques like indexing, table partition and materialized views.
Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end user workstation hardware and software.
Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports. Recommend, schedule and perform network improvements, upgrades and repairs.
Working Knowledge
Oracle Database Management 11g, 10g and 9i
Controlling access to the Oracle database listener.
Oracle RMAN (Recovery Manager) management for database backup and recoveries
Flashback technology of Oracle.
Data movement technologies like Data PUMP, Clone database and Import and Export Utilities.
Automatic Storage management (ASM)
Monitoring and Managing Memory of Oracle database server.
Oracle Database Managing Resources using Resource Manager Groups.
Advance Replication techniques using Database link and Materialized Views
Knowledge of Data warehousing techniques.
Oracle Forms Development using Forms 6i and 10g
Practical experience of network Domain configuration and user management.
Excellent technical understanding of principles of network design and data communications in Microsoft Windows environment.
Skills and Abilities
