jobs for architects ..are there any tests or exams for joining a firm

Hi all!

Have applied for and recd. my medicals for perm residence visa. I am working as Senior architect in a multinational construction company in  Dubai .
I just want to know if there are any tests or exams or local work experience required before joining a firm in Canada. What is the scope for architects, and which province requires architects.
I was advised that getting a temporary job offer may be mch. faster than searching for permanent job offers.

Can someone pls advise?

I just read your post- i know it's a bit old but it's quite relevant to me as my hubby is also an architect and we are considering relocating to canada.

so did u carry on with the relocation? any information for a relocating architect?
