Hi,

My wife and myself have applied for PR status just a couple of days back. From the information received by me, what i understand is that it is better to try and get a job prior to shifting to Canada. Regarding the same i have some queries which are as below:
1. Any specific sites which can help me in this regard
2. Will it help me or my wife to claim more points in the application if we are able to show a job offer/
3. My wife (principal applicant) is currently having job responsibilities which match the job responsibilities as shown for Finance, what is the current job scenario for such jobs in Canada?
4. Will we need to look at taking up jobs which may be a step down from whatever is our current job situation?

Would appreciate immensely if someone can shed some light on the same.

I have a similar problem, thinking about geting a temporary permit so I can travel quicker but the perm visa route is best, just takes longer although once you get it - thats it!
