I guess, It is scam e-mail, Just they want to cheat the people. They will ask you to fill the application and pay for application fee, recruitment charges, medical, etc..
Local peoples are looking for job how they are able to recruit international staff? Many Canadian citizens, PR Immigrants are applying and not get the interview call from same Oil industry.
(By the way it is not Canadian passport it is "Candidate with valid passport" mean your Indian passport should be valid.)

Sorry, I did not misunderstand but rather mis-typed. One needs to just have a valid passport not Canadian Passort. Sorry again for the confusion.
