Thank you guys for enlightening me. If by any chance you know of any website I can search for jobs or legitimate companies that cater to international nurses, please feel free to help me out and in the long run, I will return the favor. On my part, I don't have a financial problem but of course, money is still money...lol.. Thanks so much....
You dont need any paid representative to apply for a working permit. All you need are job offer from a Canadian employer, a positive LMO, filled up application form, and few other documents listed in the website where you will be submitting your application. Friends in this forum and the guidelines in the CIC website are the best tools to pull it through.
I am also a nurse. My WP application is under process. Just did my medicals yesterday. There is no easy way to get a nursing employment in canada. I got one and these are the steps I did.
1. Underwent the whole process of getting eligibility to sit for the CRNE.
2. Went to Canada to sit for the CRNE and applied a job during my stay there. It was easy for me, since I had the eligibility(temporary license) to practice as a nurse.
3. Employer in canada applied for my LMO.
4. Went home to my country of residence and waited.
5. After almost 2 months of waiting, i got my CRNE result and my LMO which are both positive.
6. Applied for WP.
BTW, pinoy din po ako.
Get that RN license and there are lots of nursing jobs waiting in Canada. Cheers!
