Dear All,

I would like to know during the immigration process if someone gets a job in a fortune 500 company, then is he or she will get a a visa for canada? if yes then how the communication and interviews will be conducted? What I believe one need to be outside of canada, may be I am wrong.

If all is fine then I am sure it adds the point in the application for job!!!!

Immaterial about the company, you could be a janitor for a major company and would not qualify.  I suggest you read the following: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp  and then take the assessment, to see if you qualify.  http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assess/index.asp

I do qualify and submitted the application 4 years back and now there is a good position in my company based in canada. Does it help in my application by getting more points for doing job there?

Only if the employer obtains an Arranged Employment Option (AEO) from Service Canada.

I am a new member of this forum in which I will be very grateful if I could get assistance from the members to get employment for me in Canada. I am presently in Nigeria working with Macmillan Nigeria Publishing Company and I wish to relocate to Canada to have more knowledge in helping the humanity.
