Hi guys. I am trying to come up with the funds I need to file a application. I will need $ 16,250.00 for a family of three. It is hard. However, I read in the Canada Immigration website that if you have a job offer, you do not have to prove funds, Is that right? Does the employer have to hire me once he makes the offer? Can I get someone to make me that job offer so that I can get the visa then when I get there I will look for a job? Do they check to see if I was really hired by that employer who offered me that job?

Thank you.

It's a bit more for the employer than just to make the offer.  He has to fill out some documents to get this AEO paper that you can send with your application.  You can read about it at http://www.hrsdc.gc.ca/en/workplaceskills/foreign_workers/poarremp.shtml
