Hi

I need to know if it'd help to speed-up the immigration case if one arranges a job offer in Canada but after the application was submitted.

I guess it may not matter much in case of latest process of New NOC 29 code as it's much faster.

But in case of all those who had applied under earlier "Simplified Application Process" and their application is still "In Process" since last 3-4 years,
and now they've a job offer, would it be a reason to speed-up their immigration case?

Moreover, is there any role of the new employer for faster processing of the application or any way to assist?

regards

You can submit a parallel application under FSW2 with your job offer. When you get to the stage where they are asking for medicals, you can then withdraw your original application. As far as I am aware a job offer won't speed up an FSW1 application.

Definitely keep both applications running until one of them is approved, and then withdraw the other one.

Also I would recommend attending a CIIP course after you get med requests!

I got a reply from CIC.

It stated that the application will move to priority category if employment can be arranged, confirmed by HRDC Canada.
