My friend's bf is applying as machinist in the Ontario region. He already passed the final interview with the employer Here and will take his medicals tomorrow.

My question is: is machinist included in federal skilled worker lists? Another one is, can somebody clear this up for me. He will be taking his medical tomorrow but can he do that even if he hasn't filled up any Canadian immigration form? And can they just do the medical to any dr? My knowledge is that you can only do it to an authorized medical doctor or am I wrong with this?

Lastly, any chance for him to apply for pr if he can't pursue the FSW class?

My friend is in the Philippines btw.

Thank you in advance
