I received my PER just minutes ago, and I cannot describe how happy I am even by considering the fact that I know there will be a long way in front of us!
My application received by CIO January 30th.
The correspondence also acknowledges receipt of my payment dated 20 Feb 2012 in the amount of 550.00 Canadian dollars.
My status updated, I have an old file number, on Feb 22th.
NOC 7241
I received my PER nearly 30 minutes before writing this post.

with PER email did u get ur file number? how come ur old file number updated? whats about ur new file number with ur PER mail? pls share

dear its PER (positive eligibility review) which CIO gives you initially which means that your application have been accepted for the furthur process ...based on your points exp and adaptability review. after that your file is transfer to your visa office based on country from where you applying ..... hope you got it ....

and if you get NER (negative eligibility review) which means that your application is rejected by CIO and your fee will be refunded and they send you back your application. ...in return they give u reasons also why they reject it.

this is basic step which decide fate of your application ...

Yes I received it by an e-mail. My e-case shows a second in process line for this new application.
Yes they send me a new file number for this application, but I heard that I can check this new application even with my old file number during the process too.

Your PER is going to come very soon buddy. If doesn't come this month, I'm sure you are going to get that with a little bit delay in the summer.
As I always said, we will see each other in Canada and will laugh to these days, or maybe I can not stand any more and take a plane and come to Emirate and meet you there buddy.
