It sucks being on the waiting end. It seems that they are  not making changes in our online statuses either. Patience is a virtue which we need to master, unfortunately... Hope for the best

Total complete applications received since July 1, 2011

The cap has been reached. CIC has received 10,000 complete Federal Skilled Worker applications for processing since July 1, 2011.

However, certain applications are still eligible for processing. From now until June 30, 2012, we will only consider applications:
with an offer of arranged employment, or
submitted under the PhD stream (see below) until the cap of 1000 applications is reached.

If new Ministerial Instructions are not issued before July 1, 2012, the current cap of 10,000 new applications will re-set on that date.

Hi Guys,

I am simultaneously going to try for Austria as well, in case Canada does not work out for me.....becos i have exactly 67 points as of now.... If the rules go haywire then left with no choice.....

I hope Austria is good as well... Don't know much details about it though Huh Huh Huh

Look at this:
If new Ministerial Instructions are not issued before July 1, 2012, the current cap of 10,000 new applications will re-set on that date.

Based on this new announcement there is a possibility that nothing will change for the future immigration program!  Grin

As we have to stay in canada for 3 years to get the permamnent PR, Austria has 5 years to give permamnent PR else they give "Red-White-Red" card

As per this link, it says we will come under the NOC 2006, since v all applied before Jan 31st,2012rite... so in 2006 NOC Social workers category is not there only Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Where is it? I could not find it? As I know just some NOCs changed from January 2012, but all fields are still there just some of them with different code and some alteration in descriptions.
