Dear Vats How come you got 3 months validity on you Bank Draft as international bank drafts are having validity of 5 months. Plz check with your bank once more.. Regards Rawlin Dear All,

Now my application had already two and half months. So my Bank draft is expires on 7th of May (3 month validity). So what should I do? If they start processing after that I will get my application back. (As the same thing happen previously also)
Shall I sent fresh draft?
Please advise

As per new Government rule Bank people told all drafts after Jan 2012 are valid only for 3 months

Dear Vats As per my bank i.e. UBI all international drafts are valid for 5 months. & thats payable in Canadian dollors so its an international one. with which bank you got your DD. As per new Government rule Bank people told all drafts after Jan 2012 are valid only for 3 months

Friends....I check my ecas everyday around this time and today there was a pleasant surprise in there when I logged in. There is an additional line in there saying:
"We started processing your application on April 24, 2012"
Fingers crossed and hopefully would get news about MR soon...

I had a word with AXIS bank chd in sector 8 & they say that their DD is valid for 3 months only as from this financial year they got a new circular.
But then I again talked to my bank (UBI) & they said that sir our DD is valid for 6 months but we only tell 5 months to get that en-cashed. Secondly they still have that 5-6 months feature on their DD.
If you check the CIC website then they have also mentioned the DD is valid upto 5 months so I don't know what system Axis got as all the other banks do offer 6 months validity on International DD with 5 months en-cash suggestion. 
I am sorry for this but you have to talk to your bank once more.Thanks in advance
