JANUARY 2012 APPLICANTS - MANILA VISA OFFICE

Good day guys... im also applying for immigrant and i have no idea what is the first thing to do..im an engineer, single, and planning to work there..I have a relative in edmonton (my aunt;whos very willing to help). I already have a passport and i dont know whats next..im looking for inputs on the net till i came across this forum..i thought it'll be a big help if you guys can give me an idea on the processes/qualifications you have taken..

hi sis sa nso main hihintayin mong marelease ung cert 2hours depende sa document na kkunin mo
Un marriage cert nakuha ko wihin the day, ung AOM ko after a week.

Tapos sa passport naman nagpasched ako through fone 737-1000 ung hotline nila. Mabilis na lang ngaun unlike before na months pa hihintayin for sched. Then pinarush ko and pinadeliver 10 days daw un but i got mine in 8 days.
 

i also got my passport in 8 working days. madali lang ang passport. what's harder to get is NBI Clearance pero online na din daw although i havent tried.

Hi monch,  please do make your own research on the cic website here is the link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/index.asp  most of the member on this thread are applying under Family Class - Spousal.   Try to check if you can qualify under Skilled Worker that is  if your field is under the current NOC list, otherwise ask your relative in Edmonton if they can find you an employer who could give you an LMO and applied as Temporary Worker.  All this information can be seen on the the website try to explore it. i also got my passport in 8 working days. madali lang ang passport. what's harder to get is NBI Clearance pero online na din daw although i havent tried.

sis ang tagal marelease ng NBI clearance, ngapply ako jan12 then narelease jan27. Grabe ung ibang nabasa ko pag may kilala sa loob makukuha daw agad. Wawa naman mga walang kilala.
Punta kau dun ng maaga kasi ngbibigay yta ng number. Im not sure sis kun pwede na sa online, mas ok un hassle free.

actually no hassle naman ako sa NBI Clearance, pero matagal nga marelease. depende talaga yun kung may hit yung name. i got mine last december 22, wala naman pila. tapos i picked it up ng Jan 13. 3 weeks.

uhm btw, someone from december batch (kgn visa office-i think this is in jamaica) got sposnorship approval na. and according to the letter, the application was received.......DEC 28! and one octoberian got her visa already. grabe. nawala antok ko!

sisses 3 weeks after the wedding i was able to apply for passport, i only had the SECPA copy from the city hall tinanggap naman cia sa dfa i got my new passport n 8 days lang 1,200 rush un

awwww your so lucky... I try to apply with my SECPA but they told me they really required a MC from NSO. That's why I spent 1 and half month for completing all my documents..

Sis San Ka nag apply ng nbi clearance? Swerve mo wala pika nung nagpunta Ka.. Late nko nakarating sa UN main office mga 930am and pamatay Ang pila! At pang 3pm na Ang sched! Nag try din Ako sa city hall ng las pinas pero 830am pa Lang cutoff na daw Kasi limited slots dun at 3am pa Lang may naka pila na! Waaaahhh!!

It's true sis in less than two hours nakuha ko NBI clearance ko, pag ka picture print agad... they call it VIP lane and was done inside the NBI Director's office.  It so happen my contact has a common friend with a higher position from inside kaya I made it, of course I bring some food and some cash under the table. 

Btw mga sister 1 week had passed and they didn't update timelines for Sponsor Assessment, still 56 days...

tlaga sis sayang din ung waiting period mo for a month and a half ha. Sa dfa macapagal ako kumuha ng passport ung bagong dfa, i didnt encounter problem naman and tinangaap nila un Secpa ko. Kasi sis diba ung secpa authorized sin ng nso may sign un sa likod.

sa mandaluyong city hall ako kumuha pero last year pa kasi yun. dec 22 ako kumuha, i timed it talaga na near christmas kasi i'm assuming na wala ng masyadong tao sa mga govt agencies kasi tamad na mag-ayos ng papers dahil magpapasko na. hehe

sa robinson's otis po pinakamaganda. walang per day quota, walang pila tapos in 1 hr. maluwag pa at malamig.

fyi pala for nbi: kahit dating wala kang hit, pero recently married ka and nagchange ung civil status mo, ikoconsider nila na ka"hit" mo ung sarili mo nung single ka pa (dahil may file na sila before pag kumuha ka ng nbi dati) kaya babalikan mo pa after 10 working days ung nbi clearance mo.  lol ridiculous right?
