Hi sis Ysabelle, again, sincere condolence.. and nice to be FB friends with you.

Guys kwento ko lang yung experience ko with the DHL box (as in big box) that hubby sent over. Kapag personal effects pala ang pinadala, you have to go to customs and self-clear them yourself. So pagdating ko dun sa CBSA,  hinanapan ako ng decalration ng "goods to follow", na dapat ginagawa and dinedeclare on your landing. Kelangan yun coz they want to match up the items on that list and ung mga nasa package, and ung mga hindi dineclare, taxable.

Since nag land ako 1.5 years ago and I was still single then, hindi ko naman na foresee na kakailanganin ko pala na ipadala sakin mga gamit ko in the future, along with hubby's stuff na din (since hnd rin kakasya sa baggage allowance nya lahat ng stuff nya) so hnd ko ginawa ung declaration na un noong nag land ako. So ayun sinisingil ako ng customs tax na around 100+ cad, eh ayaw ko xempre bayaran, inexplain ko naman na used items lahat un (kasi exempted sa tax ang used items) , and wala namang bago dun, and un nga hindi ko naman alam at the time of my landing what exactly are the stuff na ipapadala 1.5 years later.

So buti mabait ung CBSA officer, and nakita naman nya sa records nila na naispect na pala ung package and wala ngang new stuff dun. So stamped cleared with no payment hehe =) Then dinala na ng DHL sa house kinabukasan ung big box. =) Nakakatuwa lang coz andun ung mga wedding portrait namin, my old books, shoes, everything , so parang napawi konti ung homesickness ko

Suggestion ko lang mga guys, if you anticipate later on na may mga ipapadala sa inyo, better declare everything sa "goods to follow" na declaration on your landing para di kayo magkaproblema later on. =)
So ayun. Andito na mga stuff ng asawa ko, aayusin ko na sa closet mga damit nya para pagdating nya, handa na lahat hehe. Nauna pa mga gamit nya kesa sa kanya =)

may 8 yung letter pero may15 ko na nareceive yung letter. not sure kasi kung kailan talaga sinesend out ng CEM yung PPR Letter tapos dadaan pa ng philpost kasi regular mail lang naman yun. pero short pa rin yung period kasi less than a month since we received the approval to the time that we received the PPR Letter.

Hay naku it's mixed emotions talaga while me, my husband and his entire family in Edmonton still grieving with the death of my mother in law,  I just received this morning here in the hotel the PPR REQUEST.   Letter dated June 6, mail stamp on the envelope is June 13 and received ko today June 14.   

They asked me to submit Appendix A, Original NSO Advisory on Marriages for myself, Original passport picture of myself and my little girl and last (which I am a bit worried bec. I cannot provide the recent pics.) the picture of my 2 boys from my ex-husband.   Not sure if they will accept old photos of my two boys which I do still have... but I dont think my ex-husband's family will allow me to have access with my boys... ibang usapan na kasi yun.

So I am planning to write them a letter that old passport pics. lang for my boys I can give them... I hope they will understand that,  it will be a chaos kasi like my previous experience pag pinupuntahan ko mga kids ko and I if I will try again.

Hi sis Peli your very welcome... finally na silayan ko na kagandahan ni Peli lol  grabe and cute cute niya sarap I hug lol.  Anyways I previously had a not so good experience with DHL pag birthday kasi ni hubby nag pa pa package ako dun yung big boxes nila I paid P8,000 mas mahal pa yung padala kesa sa gift ko lol.   And I was told by a friend to try FEDEX...  honestly mas cheaper and FEDEX and mas mabilis pa.  So since then FEDEX nako.  I pa check and try mo kay hubby mo next time.

One more with my PPR request... Do you think it's ok to send old passport pictures of my two(2) boys?  since i really dont have access to see my boys, as I have said before very hostile and ex husband ko and his family everytime na lumuluwas ako sa Tiaong, Quezon to see them.  Will a letter of explanation again will do?  thanks.

Hi sis Peli your very welcome... finally na silayan ko na kagandahan ni Peli lol  grabe and cute cute niya sarap I hug lol.  Anyways I previously had a not so good experience with DHL pag birthday kasi ni hubby nag pa pa package ako dun yung big boxes nila I paid P8,000 mas mahal pa yung padala kesa sa gift ko lol.   And I was told by a friend to try FEDEX...  honestly mas cheaper and FEDEX and mas mabilis pa.  So since then FEDEX nako.  I pa check and try mo kay hubby mo next time.

Do you think it's ok to send old passport pictures of my two(2) boys?  since i really dont have access to see my boys, as I have said before very hostile and ex husband ko and his family everytime na lumuluwas ako sa Tiaong, Quezon to see them.  Will a letter of explanation again will do?  thanks.

hmmm i think u mentioned before na di kasali sa application ung 2 boys m db? teka confused ako kasi meron ding tinatawag na "non accompanying family member" pero pag mahirap tlga mahagilap yes provide letter of explanation na lang sis, db u provided also an explanation sa appliction dhl di nyo na sila pinamedical?

Hi sis, actually kasama yung name nila sa application ko i have to declare di ba but they are non-accompanying.  And I did provided them a notarized letter of explanation about failing the kids to get their medicals kasi nga wala totally akong access so even current pictures wala ako...  I still have copy of that notarized letter so I was thinking I submit ko ulit you with another short letter of explanation, I provide ko na lang old pictures ng mga kids.  I have no other choice kasi eh. What do you think?

Hi sis, actually kasama yung name nila sa application ko i have to declare di ba but they are non-accompanying.  And I did provided them a notarized letter of explanation about failing the kids to get their medicals kasi nga wala totally akong access so even current pictures wala ako...  I still have copy of that notarized letter so I was thinking I submit ko ulit you with another short letter of explanation, I provide ko na lang old pictures ng mga kids.  I have no other choice kasi eh. What do you think?

Nope just the medical lang I mentioned sa letter of affidavit...  but I will try to submit this by tomorrow with another explanation.  So pwede bang I send ko through Fedex lang para 1 day lang? or DHL ba talaga required nila?  And will submit it with the address they provided on the letter.

hubby used LBC.. sa CEM naman xa issend db? sis need ko pala details n PPR mo.. date of PPR letter, date of file rcvd by CEM and date u got the PPR:)

guys! grabe.. akala ko ako lang ang nag iintay ng update. pero grabe ang tagal na nung samin nung april 30 pa nila na received ung passport ko e. hanggang ngaun wala pa ding visa... hay halos araw araw ako ng checheck ng ECAS  ko lagpas isang buwan na aplication received p din... araw araw ko iniintay c mr.postman para i deliver n ung passport ko... sana naman matapos na...ang hirap mgintay.......... lalo n hindi mo alam kung anung nangyayari na sa papel mo.. haaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy


LORD please... sana dumating n mga visa po nmn...gusto na namin makasama mga asawa namin po...
