Hi sis peli need to ask something as well need to hear your opinion.  I just received an email response from Manila Embassy,  I informed them with the discrepancy on my name that they declared with the my husband's sponsor approval, just a recap I previously worked sa Canada for 2 years as worker so then I used my married name.   With our spousal applicationw no I use my maiden name (annulled name),  as well we submitted all documents consistent with my maiden name (Annulled name) eg. passport, medical, police clearance and other relevant docs. 

It sucks to find out that in our e-cas and letter of approval they use my previous married name...  so medyo may conflict ngayon.   I wrote Embassy Manila about the inconsistency of the name they put on the Sponsor's approval letter, to e-cas and to our application forms and documents.  What do you think i will do?  they didn't clearly state sa email response nila what should I do, but obviously the error was with them.

sorry for the late reply, ngayun ang ako ui naka log in dito at medyo naging busy sa work.:-) anyways, my hubby has reserved a booking with st raphael, either july 24 or 26, via china air. yes, vancouver-bound sila, then edmonton. pero di pa nya na purchase ang ticket kasi, baka may murng deal pa. mas mabuti sana kung pal yung makuha nila.kaso lang yung reservation nila sa pal, july 4, at yung sa anak ko waitlisted pa.:-)

this is good news.

The Canadian Embassy can now request for extension of the Medical Exam validity for another 12 months if the reason for the pendency of visa issuance is an about to expire Medical result or an Expired Medical result.

So, at least, we wont have to redo it again in case our Medical Exams expires.

The only thing I am scared of about this is that, maybe the CEM will no longer be pressured to issue the visa immediately as a request for extension can now be done. This will also give them enough confidence not to hurry up for the processing because there is no more pressure of an expiring medical exam.

Hmmm.. they may have used your previous records when you worked here, I think it's because everyone has only one UCI for whatever applications you make... Is your UCI on the sponsorship approval letter same as your UCI when you applied for work here? That maybe the reason ecas still reflects your married name.

In my opinion, even if you used your annulled name on your documents, they were able to identify you anyway so I wouldnt worry about encountering problems on the processing of your application...
But, of course you don't want to use your old married name anymore .. Hmmm.. of course I would suggest getting in touch with CEM or CIC but you did that already.. What exactly did CEM say when they responded to you?

haha. sis! nasa pilipinas pa ako. application received pa rin sakin. tama si si xrozz, in process saka Decision made yung aabangan mo. pero check mo pa rin yung ibang changes kasi yung sa iba biglang nag-aappear na yung canadian address ng wife/husband nila sa ilalim nung name nila sa ecas, so parang good news na din daw yun. hehe

hey guys,kaka check ko lang din ng ecas ko..  ano ibig sabihin neto guys nakalagay na kasi current mailing address ng asawa ko sa ecas ko...wala namn dati sa ecas ko address ng asawa ko sa Canada...is this a good sign?

i believe so kasi yung ecas is your profile eh. so parang inuupdate na nila yung profile mo with a canadian address. naka-in process na ba yung ecas mo?
