JANUARY 2012 APPLICANTS - MANILA VISA OFFICE

My Parents were sponsored by my sister last 2007 and I was 17 and still a minor and so I was "part" of the sponsor package because I was still a minor back then and now I am 22(this age I am still a minor in Canada I think) and this January 2012 we had our Medical Checkup and all documents were sent passport, barangay certificate etc.,

Here are my questions:
1. How long do we wait for results?
2. What documents are we waiting for? what papers? (all I know is that we'll get a permanent residence visa?)
3. Once we have our permanent residence(*hopefully get approved) how many months are we given to sort things out here in the philippines before we migrate to canada? 1-2 months?
4. Does the Medical Checkup indicate that we are a shoo in for the PR?


Reason for number 3 question is that I want to work first to get a job experience since I just graduated this March 2012 and would like to know that if I work I won't be forced to quit in 1 months time.
I heard from my sister that it is hard to find work in canada if you don't have experience and is a Fresh Graduate

Peli.... ano po balita sa application niyo? i'm one of those who asked for help sa inyo dun sa thread nio po mismo and isa na rin po ako sa mga naiinip ng naghihintay na magka sponsor approval.. hehehe. marami na po bang sponsor approved  sa January and february?? at ng kami naman sa march and april ang mapagbigyan.  

wala pa ring sponsorship approval. congrats to evryone na DM and PP received na... kindly check the spreadsheet kung tama ba ung mga info nyo para magamit namin as basis , kaming mga hindi pa rin tapos sa stage 1 approval. sorry if hindi ako masyadong nakakasagot o nakakaupdate these past few days, mejo iwas lang muna dahil nalulungkot pa rin ako sa kawalan ng approval ng app namin. But I'm happy for everyone who has finished the journey.

Hi everyone, I called CIC again (i was on hold for 15 mins, huhu, phone bill is gonna be huge) and the agent said, they are working on Feb 1 so they should have an update by now. But when she checked she said they are still making some verification on my application and should wait and call again if no word has been received by May 28 (ridiculous... that's too long).

Then, I tried to log in to ecas using my Client ID (as sponsor) and surprise surprise, I was able to log in. I have my name, address, my hubby's name, but still under Sponsorship Application Status and Permanent Residence Application Status - still "Application Received"

Glad that there is one positive thing today, and hopefully, wishful thinking, that since they have uploaded our info on ecas, we will also be getting approval soon.. I really really hope and pray.. its 97 days now...

Question to everyone: What is that F0000***** ? is it the file number?

Thanks ladyR!!! tunog ng tunog ung email ko kanina pa, pero laging Job notifications.. asar na asar nako, tapos lalabas na sana ako ng office, tumunog siya, binalikan ko and un na nga.. haaay napaupo tlga ako sa sobrang relief na parang nadrain ung energy ko... Yes susunod na rin kayo, mukhang mabilis sila today dahil tatlo agad kami sa int'l na nakarecieve ng email ng halos sabay sabay..

naku sana nga ma-follow din natin ung timelines ng mga naunang January.. average of 19 days from SA to PPR letter, then nasa 30 days lang from PPR to DM.. then ilang days lang DM to PP received.. ayoko nanaman umasa pero mukhang makakahabol tlga si Hubby ng July na flight...

Hello..ask ko lng po..kc ung mom ko nkttanggap din ng ganyang mail from immigration..it means po ba tuloy tuloy na ung processing nmin d2 sa pinas?last janauary pa po xa nkatanggap na gnyang letter tru mail..pero wla pa rin po kming kit na natatanggap from CEM..pero may tumAwag po sa akin last march 20 ang sbi po ay mag email daw po aq ng full name ng mom ko,full name ko,full name ng brother ko,adress nmin  d2 sa pinas at adress ng mom ko sa canada..within 60 days daw po ung respond nila...hanggang ngaun wla pa rin po ung kit..may dependent ka po ba?live in caregiver po ba ung program nio..kc ganun po ung smin..
