The strange thing is that they tell you to add the amount of days in Step 1 with total time in Step 2 to know how long your app should take. According to CIC processing times now, it says 55 days... but my app has been sitting there for 65 days. So when you call and ask about it and they say that when it says January 25th apps on the site, it actually means January 10th.. it just doesn't make sense. just venting...  |

Thanks podkayne8...I hope so too...it is very worrying to be the last one so far. My dad sent me an email tonight saying still no "snail mail" for me  Could it that I am applying while not living in Canada? I know I have asked that before... My husband has been on his Serbian forums and someone told him she waited 70 something days for approval. We are at 69 now.... I didn't phone last night as it was already late here when I read the update...I might phone on Monday if there still no snail mail for me by Friday night. |

didn't u guys notice that the 55 days didn't change since maybe 3 weeks now and like last week this time too the calculations r wrong!!!!!!! these r calendaristic days not business and from Jan 25 until March 14 (the day of update) it's 50 days not 55...if it's still 55 days of working then they r opening Jan 20th applications....again someone didn't get enough coffee tsk tsk tsk looking at our spreadsheet i think they r far behind  then what they post... the december spreadsheet was reflecting very well the CIC updates....although it would b cool that we all get the good news in the same time  |

It is very crazy. The site says something, the status is another and we are waiting checking the site over and over. The agent could not justify why the site says working on application jan 25 while your application and others are not done. That is why the agent said these non sense things when the site says jan 25 that means blah blah blah....! They are driving us all crazy |

I GOT MY APPROVAL! I don't mean to rub it in for those of you still waiting...but 70 days for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to call them tonight...spoke with Tanya and she was the nicest so far. She told my I was approved March 9th...exactly 2 months after we applied. She said that I should receive an email and sometimes they send it 5 days after approval...so... So happy and feel such relief! Thanks to everyone and good luck to those still waiting |
