I called the Call centre because CIC-M received my application Jan 24. The lady on the phone told me that if it shows Jan 25, it means that they are sending approvals for applications sent 2 weeks prior, meaning Jan 11 applications. Apparently, until it shows working on Feb 7 applications, that's when they're actually working on Jan 25 applications, and to call in 2 weeks if I do not receive approval. Hmmm I don't know if I should believe this info....

Hmmm.. maybe what "working on" means in the website is they are opening up the packages and maybe sending AOR's, so yes , maybe our approval will come after a few days, or a week or two (but two weeks is too long!) |

Yes, Pelipeli that's what I believe she meant. That they are opening up packages and that it takes 2 weeks to actually receive AOR. However, I personally don't believe that this is the case. I think we'll get AOR in a few days, if not complete approvals I'll call everyday until I hear from CIC |

K I just tried to call cic... After entering my info the automated machine confirmed my app was received on jan 11. I pressed zero to talk to an agent and they hung up in me lol... Have a nice afternoon to you too cic, hahaha They said their least busiest days are Thursday and Friday so I'll try again first thing tomorrow... Im just about ready to receive my approval....  |

Ok well I seen the change on CIC at 3:55.. so i called cic 0-0-0-0-1, waited on hold for 13 minutes.. started beeping (so they hung up)... then i called again... 15 min on hold.. talked to someone.. i told them my receipt number and name, address etc. gave him info when my package arrived and the tracking number. he said he sees nothing in the system. He said he is sending CIC an email to look for my package in the mail room and that it shouldn't take long for me to see something happening. So i think they haven't even opened it yet.. he assured me it should not take long... Hope he's right. Glad I called, or I may not hear anything for a while. Didn't have the best news to tell my wife... hopefully soon it will be something positive. That's all I know today. He also said that they are told to send AOR to everyone.. I told him that on my forum some people mention never getting such a notice.. he told me that he doesn't know why they don't, because they are supposed to.. I also asked if it is common for a package to be misplaced? He said it's doesn't happen often, but it happens regularly. I just hope the medicals will be ok during the time my app is processed in Vienna.. Should be.. but someones little mistake not seeing my app could make me have to send a medical again.. not very nice.

Those of you who have been watching processing times - when it does update on a weekly basis, how many days does it jump? If it is January 25 right now, do you think it will be in February next week? I am curious if they get through less than one days applications every day or maybe more than one day. Hope I am making sense!

for several weeks they seemed to go through about 8-10 days in 1 week... there was a stall around January 3rd.. the last week when it was supposed to change, it didn't.. this week it finally did and it jumped to January 25th... Lately it seems to be updated on Wednesdays, mid afternoon.. although, back in January.. it was updated mainly on Tuesdays... One time I didn't see a change until Thursday... There is no definite pattern you can count on... I dont' really get excited to see a change until Wednesday.. February has a decent chance to be touched within the next week. That's what I think.

My husband and I encountered the same thing. What we did were to keep on calling for a few times until we were put on the queue for the next available agent. K I just tried to call cic...
