Although on the CIC website they are saying that they are processing Dec applications, I can see that people whose applications reached in early Jan are getting their approvals. That makes me feel sooo much better.  |

Well the CIC has updated their site to say they are working on applications rec'd Jan 3, 2012 - with a 48 day processing time. Now I am really getting worried  that I haven't heard anything since mine was rec'd Jan 6. How long should I wait before pestering them? lol |

Mine arrived at CIC-M Jan 6 as well and I have not heard anything yet. Paranoia is setting in... I worry because I am not living in Canada as I sponsor.... Maybe someone forgot ours under their cup of coffee  I worry since my medicals went so much earlier than my application that they lost something. Paranoia is definitely setting in for me too. Plus from reading the forums, we have several of the 'red flags' to our case - I am 10 years older than him and was previously married. He wasn't previously married but does have children etc. But surely..still they could send me an AOR! |

Oh, sorry I didn't realize you were a feb applicant...this is a jan thread. I'm pretty sure there is a feb group, or at least one specific for your vo. You are more thaN welcome to stick around, but we will be much ahead as far as processing goes |

I worry because I am not living in Canada as I sponsor.... hi Gemini, i am also in same situation. i am sponsor and living outside of Canada for last one year with my husband.what did you submit as proof of your return? i have only few, letter from my mother, bank accounts and investments. i have one university acceptance letter also but dated 2008. i took some time off from studies in 2010. i said i plan to continue my studies in september 2012. im really worried about that part hope that will work best of luck for all of us |
