CIC updated waiting time to 53 days...processing applications upto Dec 22. So I guess we still have one more week to wait until it hits January.

welcome!!!!  nice to see people from the same region  there's a thread for amman office and also thread for damascus office; we all follow both  if u don't mind saying what's the applicant's nationality? goood luck!! thanks ! my wife is Jordanian. i think the Application will be sent to the Jordanian VO as the syrian one was shutdown. i hope you get your approvals soon! |

i dont think it matters becoz ND and mississauga both offices are sleeping for last few weeks but someone said in another forum that they send important docs and application forms through internet and application package via courier later. so they will transfer your file to NEW DELHI on the same day of your sponsor's approval. BTW whats your timeline best of luck for fast processing |

I wish I could stay calm...Just saw someone in Dec thread got approved and they sent their app on Dec 30 which is 2 days after me...This is really tough |

Email is dated today correct?
Yes, it came today at 6:35 PM EST. There is one problem though, email states that they received my file on Jan 5, 2011. They have entered date as 2011 instead of 2012 (typo). I hope it doesn't negatively impact my file. Thanks! |
