Guys, something really weird happened. My husband's ecas got another column that says "permanent residence application" and "decision made" and says the following:
We received your application for permanent residence on May 12, 2009.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on July 15, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.
The above is when my husband got his PR. Why is it showing on my application's ecas? Anyone know?
Mine is still "application received". SOO weird.

seems to me like they just are working on the file and updated it to show that he was given PR. I wouldn't worry about it; if anything, it seems positive because they are working on it!

How long until the Manila VO gets the applicant's app after being mailed? What about PPR and app completion? How long did it take for you guys? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks |

pelipeli - It has happened to me too. My ecas is showing the the Indian address now even though it is still Application Received. I am really curious what that means.
every body is experiencing different changes on ecas.... i want to share one thing. my address changed on 5th june but no change in status its just shows application receive till date .. they mailed me a letter requesting 2 documents....to continue my application its 2 month and 5 days they have my passport and the documents they requested earlier. again i have couriered them doc yesterday which they demanded later... not even in process is seen under my status can those people can share their experience who got interview that did they requested any documents after ppr or directly called u for interviw and whizbee u have they requested u any doc after ppr and did they changed your status directly to decision made without in process. am waiting for your reply guys really worried whats gonna happen next  |

can those people can share their experience who got interview that did they requested any documents after ppr or directly called u for interview
hi goodya, we received interview letter after 35 days of PPR and in your case, if they have already requested additional docs, it means they dont need anything else so dont worry. you will get DM soon. goood luck |

You don't get to choose port of entry...or what is it???I am waiting for my dad to send my passport and COPR...and i dunno what it says and what it doesn't...is there some designated port of entry? |

We applied on Jan. 18, and sponsorship approved on April 4, then eCas still shows "Application Received", once I click this link, only shows "We received application for permanent residence on January 17, 2012.". No medical received and no anything else as you guys mentioned. Is that normal?

I don't have the exact same situation as you, but it is similar I suppose. Our app was received on Jan 10 and sponsorship approval came on March 20th, on that same day it was transferred to Buffalo. Only by chance did we find out it was transferred to LA. I had written to Buffalo to see if anything was moving (after 2 months of it being there) and they wrote back a very short response saying LA basically. I called CIC-M and they told me it was indeed transferred to LA on May 8th. We have not heard from LA or Buffalo, or Ottawa or anywhere for that matter since then or before then (without our initiation of communication), so we wouldn't have known of it's transfer in any other case. Moreover, our ecas still says application received under my husband's name and when you click on that, besides the date they received it, there is one extra line that says "medicals received". no in process or anything else. At this time, I have no idea where our file is or if anyone has actually opened it or if it's just being shuffled around the continent. We plan to write/call them this week to see if we can get any updated info. |
