I already pass my pasport last april 30 2012 but till now no response from the embassy, why it took so long?

I received an email from cic india and ot says

This refer to your appication for admission in canada.
Please be advised that passports cannot be post to the countries other than india nepal bhutan.

You are requested to send the address within these three countries.


I had already sent my add with the passport...so they writibg to me is it a good sign...or it is just thatthey are making sure

It is both. They wouldn't mail it to US, for what I imagine would be legal reasons, and the fact that they emailed you implies they're finalizing your app and double checking where to mail your passport. Good luck.

Hi Everyone, I know this is completely off the topic but I thought I might like to share this quote a friend of mine posted on facebook.  It's  just for something different and I think it's good to have some time out from all the immigration stuff every once in awhile.

So here it is.....


Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others, including Love.  One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all constructed boats and left.  Except for Love.
     Love was the only one who stayed.  Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment.
     When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.
     Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat, Love said,
" Richness, can you take me with you?"
Richness answered, " No, I can't.  There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat.  There is no place here for you."
     Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel."Vanity, please help me!"
" I can't help you, Love.  You are all wet and might damage my boat." Vanity answered.
     Sadness was close by so Love asked, Sadness, let me go with you.""Oh . . . Love, I am so sad that I need to be my myself!"
     Happiness passed by Love, too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her.
     Suddenly, there was a voice, " Come, Love, I will take you."  It was an elder.  So blessed and overjoyed, Love even forgot to ask the elder where they were going.  When they arrived at dry land, the elder went her own way.  Realizing how much was owed the elder,
     Love asked Knowledge, another elder, " Who Helped me?"
Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered. "Because only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is."

hello everyone i am so tensed can somebody help what does this mean ? is that good news or bad i just checked my ecas and it been updated as follows


We received ******* application for permanent residence on January 18, 2012.
 
We started processing ******** application on May 2, 2012.
 
Medical results have been received.
 
A decision has been made on ******* application. The office will contact ****** concerning this decision.

I Have Also Received Sponsorship Approval Mail On 30/04/2012 But Date I have not Received Any Updates From ND VO For Passport Request ?? U Have Any Idea about it ??

Good News, my wife received PPR today from New Delhi. They requested for the following information:
1) Landing Fees- Already Submitted
2) Police Clearance Certificate- Already Submitted
3) Original Passport- being sent today with courier

All documents are being sent to the PO BOX # on the letter, is this correct? Should I submit any more information? Any idea on how long it takes from PPR to getting the actual Visa? Any suggestions on expediating the process?

The letter was dated May 17th but received with e-mail today on May 22nd. Is a hardcopy of the letter going to be sent as well?

Thanks everyone for the support and I believe the spreadsheet can be updated. Also. e-Cas has been updated with Application and Medical Received for my wife. When can I expect another updated on e-Cas?

Good Luck to everyone waiting, I am sure everyone will be processed soon.

congrats .. yes the photo copy of the letter of PPR or an e-mail is also to send with the PP.
i am also waiting 4 the next step as i have also send the pp on 17th may ..& hope for the good news soon

Nothing so far. 48 days since transfer and counting. With the daily bandhas and strikes, I don't know how it'll make it to KTM.
