Cheshire, so outland applications will receive their visa in 2-3 weeks? Really?
oh boy sorry about the confusion, yes missmini is right. i meant sponsorship approvals in 2-3 weeks. latest december batch approval has app received dec 13, so thats a few days shy of being mid-december already so 2 -3 weeks more they'll be working on january apps already , or so we hope  |

batchmates, what version of IMM1344 did u submit? i happen to find out theres a december 2011 version: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM1344E.PDFbut i think we submitted the november 2011 version coz we started filling up our forms early december. that latest version has not come out yet at that time. you think that will be an isssue? hope not.  |

we submitted the old forms all together, not even november 2011; they were already filled for some time and they said they r valid until 31 march 2012 (date of receival?!) and i didn't see anyone saying that their application was returned because of that....for sure i don't think u'll have any issues and i hope we won't have either oh that's a relief! thanks missmini always helpful and kind |

But, The online service gives the result as "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. "  Can anyone provide information on, how long the waiting time to get the information on e-cas? Thanks |

I have a receipt number as well, but I could not check the status of our application. I get the same msg as yours fadil80. But I did register with e-cas and I hope as soon as anything happens with our application, I get a notice of some sort. (I suppose that is how it works ... donno yet!)
yeah me too, i tried all kind of old immigration file numbers combinations and the current receipt number and nothing; but i don't struggle too much....i'm waiting for ur turn first  but how did u resgister for it?  i thought u will be automatically getting online updates unless u say "don't want any online updates" (which u can probably do it once u start getting online updates and access the e-cas ) keep us updated, maybe u'll be getting an "Application Received" email too  |
