Hi All ! It's very disheartening when the processing times keep going up  Congrats to all that have had an AOR for January!! It is inspiring to hear all the stories  My app was received on Jan 20, but still nothing yet. But I check this forum regularly, it is so helpful and I feel less lonely |

I kind of have to trust that everyone will let me know when their status changes, and I can usually update ASAP. Hopefully I'm not missing anything, but t be sure, hopefully people Dont mind reviewing their line in the spreadsheet to ensure I have it right! My fingers are crossed that our file gets transferred...Seattle seems to be processing so much faster than buffalo! Fingers crossed. Luckily I get to visit my husband again this weekend... I'm so excited. We're seeing a Rays baseball game Saturday night...but I could care less what we do just as long as I get to be with him... Once again these 52 hours together will be short but sweet! Enjoy the ballgame and your time together. I don't mean to be a pest  but I think you might have missed these. I also hope people won't be offended by me volunteering their information to you (although public in this forum). and move back date processing time to 5 jan 12 LOL  When they update on Thursday in pretty sure the wait time will be more than 84 days. Insane.

CIC/government is also basing their immigration policy for spouse visa on the statistics for Canadian marriages and divorces. The divorce rate is about 50% of those who marry, while in India the rate is less than 1%. In general, Indian people think differently about marriage (like very positively) than Canadians. In Indian society, there is the expectation that everyone must marry and there is no concept (or "choice") of divorce.
