Hey, Thanks for the info.. However, i was wondering, as a sponsor, there isn't many supporting documents that should go into it. Can u tell me, which documents/supporting documents generally to include in the Sponsor's Envelope?

yeah exactly what pelipeli said: id documents (landing record or pr card or citizenship card, passport), and everything else in that checklist; i'm applying through Quebec so many of those don't apply to me; but yeah option C, letter from employer if applicale, pay stubs from the last 12 months if applicable (again see the checklist); most of my supporting documents were proof of ties to Canada and support letters for my return since i'm outside now; if this does not apply to u then the sponsor part should b pretty slim  |

Hello people!! Anyone knows when do we receive the FILE NUMBER from CIC after initially applying for Spousal Immigration? And do they send it to you by E-mail or regular mail? I'm a Canadian Citizen applying for my wife.

That's right!! I also looked at the December spreadsheet... so far 2 people got approved with one being 54 days, the other 59! looks like the processing days are in the 50's now! that's good because when they count in the Christmas Shutdown, and new years... it'll bump it up a few... We might have our first approvals by the last week of February!! But we wont be upset if it's even sooner  |

But I pick
A family member of the principal applicant who is 22 years of age or older, or is less than 22 years of age and is a spouse or common-law partner,, Sponsorship application (per application) and Principal applicant...
Damm me I paid $1100, How do i change it..
contact CIC customer service and ask them if there is any problem but i think they will return your $60 soon without any action from you. best of luck |

I offered to start a spreadsheet at the beginning of the month and didn't get too many responses but see now that there are takers... I'll ask again.... Anyone interested can you please private message me with as much info but at the very least: your visa office, date your application was sent to Mississauga, the date they received it. If there is anything else you want to add, I can make a "notes" column that might help others out. You'll have to give me a bit to get it all together but I sure don't have a problem doing this for us Januarians As you receive feedback from Mississauga you'll have to let me know so that I can update the spreadsheet. I'm checking the forum everyday so I'll for sure stay on top of it. So if your application was sent to cicm in January and you want to be a part of the spreadsheet please let me know. |

Help please...My husband is waiting for his LMO...the problem is his married with his 1st wife and to me... the annulment is on process now is it ok if he declare me as his wife so I can accompany him in Canada... his first marriage is 1995 and we got married 2004...my question is. if he declares me as his wife and he applied for PR and we have already a court order for his first marriage... wala bang magiging problema un pag nag-apply siya ng PR..
