I know it's only the middle of Jan but there are only 6 of us in this thread!
I know there are more people out there applying but this might be a good sign for when they start processing our apps. I think the December applicants are a fairly small group too.... The processing times just went up today, hopefully after a month or so they will go back down!
Aww really.... *goes off to check cic website* OMG ! 74 days???  that made me sad. I hope u r right that it will go back down... Ive said that to myself when the processing times got up during the summer and now here we are,still going up. Sighhhhh. But lets not lose hope! Maybe it will go,down! The add'l 6 days may be just bec of their holiday backlogs. |

hey everyone, hope we'll make the January thread too God help us!!! finally!!!!! it's good to see some other friends here, imatra, pelipeli  me too i'm saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad, the timeline is up soo many days just in one week.....last week, they were working on applications sent on Oct 26, 7 days after they work on application sent on Oct 27....i expected the timeline to go up a lot last week cuz their days off were then not now!!!!  i don't want to be negative, but when i'm sad, i need to share with people who understand, so we could encourage each other  good luck and best wishes for all!!  |

hi guyz...just wanna ask some questions? can i go back to my country to have a vacation for 1 month even my application is being processed? I am the sponsor and i got already the approval last dec.15...now im waiting for the PPR...need help!..thanks..
1 month vacation would not affect anything....if u r Canadian citizen u could b outside as long as u want but need to show intent of return; if u r PR, u need to be in Canada but a few weeks vacations won't really make a difference....enjoy!! |

Hi All! I am a January applicant as well! Good luck to you all! I (the sponsor) sent the application to Missassauga January 2nd and it was received January 6th. My husbands VO is Vienna, which has a waiting time of 9 months, but seems to be going through in about 3. I am a bit nervous though as I am not currently living in Canada, but had to prove my return upon approval. Fingers crossed. Let the waiting game begin! same with me!!!!! i had to prove my intent of return (half of the sponsor package is with those proofs); hope it will be ok cuz i don't want to be far away from each other during all this; it could take very well 1 year or even more!!! but at least we'll be together wishing a speedy approval....good luck!! |

Thanks peli! I'm so anxious! My husband is in Florida, I won't see him again until the 28th and for 30 hours only but like I said having you guys here is so comforting.
