im in same category ...... they started processing my case on 23rd march and status was updated 25th April & now i beleive that they might be in security check and background check which will take may be 1 month or may be 6 month next step will be PPR (Passport Request ° as far as they finish all checks they will send letter or email for PPR and then within no time you will get Passport Stamped

i have already got the ppr  request and mine passport was delivered on 17april already am talking about the in process statement written under application received statement dear.

its about 21 days mine passport is with them  waiting to see in process statement ....plz plz god fulfill everybodys wish and help to reach our destination

Do they update it to "in process"?my just shows medical received n no updates after that.

this is what i was about to ask do they update or it remains same ....well honestly i dont rely on ecas because in march they have started processing mine file and they updated in APRIL  which is really strange

My Still Showing Application  Received For....  since  Feb

No where in my ecas or the letter I received says "in process."

even the letter I got says :

In order to expedite the processing of your application, we are requesting that you provide the following as soon as possible:
* payment of your right of permanent resident fee to our office.
* Submission of police clearance certificate
* Submission of original passport.

Please note that a request for your passport at this time is not a guarantee of visa issuance. passports are requested so that we can hold them on  your file and issue your visas as soon as possible after all requirements have been met.



This is what i received from New Delhi in registered mail....and This is a PPR right???'even if not, i sent my passport based on that letter....so no where does it say "IN Process"....reading the other threads....i generalized that...it doesn't says IN Process.....am i wrong to think that?

YES THIS IS Y9UR PPR along with that you have to submit requested docs and for you will get your passport stamped

What you got was indeed a PPR. ECAS will say 'in process' after they receive your passport and start finalizing your visa. That happens before the status changes to decision made.

I believe they should have my passport by now....hopefully they will get to look into it asap..... More than stepping in canada, beginning of new life is making me excited......if not I feel like I am dating my husband lol.....dont really feel.married hahaha

Wow, so much has happened here since I last checked in. I've got a lot of catching up to do!

I got an email from my VO on May 1st saying that an officer has reviewed my application and now they're just waiting for my police certificate from NZ.

I checked ecas today. It now says:

"in process"

We received your application for permanent residence on January 11, 2012.
 
We started processing your application on May 2, 2012.
 
Medical results have been received.

I got the following feedback from my MP:

As per your request, our office has contacted Citizenship and Immigration Canada regarding your spousal sponsorship application. I was informed that the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga received your application on February 1, 2012.

It is currently processing your application along with those received on February 1 st . You will receive a notice of the decision soon.

I really hope she gets here before the summer ends so we can enjoy summer together, take those trips together even together the place to wifey's taste :-)

Did u get the ppr request yet....i hope everything will work out in ur end too..n actually I wish everyone good luck.....in my case my husband visits me every 2 months or so but still.its not the same....going shopping together....laundry together....knowing that ur better half is next to u is such a good feeling......i m pretty sure everyone is missing these experiences........awww   I so wish that we all wil get out of this misery soon......

no it just a ppr ,it will show in ur ecas as soon as they start working on
