This is my question:
I have not seen any changes in the last few months. Should I be concerned and get in touch with VO (Ankara) to make an inquiry or should I stay put and wait a little bit longer?

i personally suggest u to wait VO will contact you as they contacted me to pay rprf

We received your application for permanent residence on November 17, 2011.

We started processing your application on March 23, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

THEY  asked me for rprf by mail on 23rd march 2012 AND  rprf paid on 26th march and send one copy to mississauga office ans one copy to paris office which they have received on 29th march ...... now can you tell me what is  next i mean i should wait for ppr or something else ?

*and one more thing my UCI number is same on my visit visa which they have issued me in nov 2011 as i have requested visit visa because we were expecting baby so this UCI is normal to be like in my visit visa*
* and once adress was changed in our ecas ... like as my wife sponsored me so once while checking ecas status we have seen mailing adress and residential adress and then we called cic and told that my wife is not livung in adress which you have mentioned so it was sort of strange but then they have updated it so now residential and postal adress is same * if anyone knows abt it so let me know

honey in depends from VO to VO....for sure people from New Delhi or Manila VO would tell u it's not normal....but the ones from the same region as u going through similar embassies would tell u it's ok....did u get AOR from Ankara? i think laleh got something....what abt mehdi? anyway don't make official inquiry it will not help, u didn't pass their timeline....plus we probably have to wait in the queue for the files transfered from Damascus - some waited maybe 1 year and logically they should have the visa before us if u got nothing from Turkey yet all u could do is to send them email asking to confirm that they received ur application....

hey parisien i would like to help u but don't know how each embassy works...so don't know how long u still need to wait....usually lots of people here r helpful but if they don't answer it really means they don't know, no need to keep reposting the same thing....assuming is wrong and might give u false hopes....pls join the november 2011 thread and see if those members got similar outcome and also ur specific VO thread, just to understand how that embassy works
abt the UCI: i think it's normal to have the same one don't worry....usually once u make any application with CIC u will get a client id and then forever u will have the same client id no matter what other applications u'll make (citizenship, etc)...also don't rely on ecas like a bible, many people have seen address changes, etc things dissappear reappear, all it means is that they work on ur file and there was some movemenet nothing else.....good luck!!

The  reason it took so long to Pr Approval, one of the document  wasn't  sign by my wife. Therefore  the CIC  Returned  the Document back to us  I had to get my wife to sign and mail it back  to me and mail it back to  CIC

Our applications were filed really close to eachother.  Can I ask you if your spouse had any travel history?

even mine application was also filled on 17 jan and i received my ppr and was mailed on 16april
can u help me by telling what questions did they ask  when your wife got a call from cic... i have asked u before also but u didnt reply can u help me by telling....

anyways best of luck to have decision made in everybodys case who all are got ppr

hi there. im sorry i never saw your msg. my husband got his ppr on april 18th. my husband did not get a call but he recieved an email asking for the fees to be paid, pcc, and passport. since our applications were filed  close together i think both of us will hear something by may 17th (case is in process). just a guess based on people who filed a few days or a week before us. i am certain it wont take more than 1- 3 months of recieving ppr. hope this helped

Hi Kiwinijjar, No travel History at All..
We submitted 250 after marriage photos, no call records or email records, We mentioned that all communication was via skype.
And those 250 photos had 60 or so pics from Ring ceremony and marriage, rest were all the photos of time spent together, we attended many functions together, like two marriages, one ring ceremony function, visit to various places, parks, home pics.

How many pics have you submitted?
