I think we have a pretty strong and suppotrtive group! We even have friends like you from other months  Thanks for your support... I'm sure if we all lived close to each other we would have one heck of a party to celebrate all of this goodness. Congrats to all the sponsors that were approved today.  |

Congratulations to all those receiving their sponsorship approvals. It seems like CIC is finally starting to move. Mine was approved on April 5th but I still can't access ecas. Is anyone else having this problem? I thought I'd compare notes with the good folks here before ringing the call centre. I really would rather not  |

I would not care and would not call CIC (as you have seen calls do not actually materialize things) |

Calling CIC is annoying. It's great to see updates on ecas, BUT knowing your are approved is good enough. Really glad for all the approvals this week!  |

I just arrived home from work.. and see that we've had 4 approvals in 1 day! that's crazy a good crazy!!! I was starting to forget just how exciting it is to see people get one step closer... Looks like something has changed at CIC... I wish many more people with great news this week... it's a short week but still 3 more days, a lot can happen!! Good luck |

I got an email from my VO today saying that my PR application is now with an immigration officer for review and they will be in further contact with me soon. I also got a new number issued that is different from the application number they gave in the sponsorship approval letter and VO AOR email.
I guess it could be the immigration file number? It was all written together like: F00000000/B00000000

Yep that's the file number. If you login to ecas - the login page has a link that describes each type of number you can use to login. Congrats! |

yes you need to submit 6 photos of size given in checklist (35*45) and send original ppc.
didnt you send your photos with application??

CIC will update the e-cas status on every Tuesdays. You can check for your details in e-cas on Tuesday.

happy easter, everyone! got my husband's ppr today. i only passed by the local post office at around 2:30 pm to inform the postman in our area that we are expecting a mail from the canadian embassy, but to my surprise he brought out with him the brown envelope intended for my husband. the letter, dated march 23rd, says that manila vo received the file from mississauga on march 20th. it further required my husband to submit his & my son's passports, as well as appendix A. i immediately filled up the form and sent their passports. now, we're off to the last waiting stage...visa issuance! thank you Lord for yet another blessing. praying everyone will receive good news soon, too!  |
