congrats xtin finally some good news they didn't send u AOR before right? u got the sponsor approval directly? anyway finally some update, that's great....let more updates come for aaaalll well said
Besides some think CIC has 5 agents they are the same that answer calls and they are the same who update site as if our calls or their site update will keep them from working....
There is some serious problems..we need to stick together evenif the solution will affect only future applicants...we are asking for the minimum rights (fairness, acknowledgement, transparency) NOT only as citizens but as humans....would not you feel shy if your bragging about Canada and this is the 1st thing your spouse see!!!
thanks! No we haven't received anything at all. We are so worried that is why we tried to call in CIC last friday and ask about our application and the agent told my husband that there are no records yet. But when we told the agent that we send the application January 16, and as per Canada post CIC will received it on January 18,2012. The agent told us to call back after a week or two and they will check it. So what we did is just wait and pray... Its been my habit already to check this site everyday to see for new updates new approvals. These Site is really a big help! We received the approval letter thru E-Mail, ( so guys check ur email everyday! )and it is written on the letter that once we received an email we will not received any Mail from them and just contact Manila because they have forwarded the papers already. Be positive Guys! i can feel that they are working on it already. |

Hi Guys,
i have been trying to get hold of the high commission in london. its terrible! i know the voice recording off my heart now!
i just want to ask.. i want to plan a holiday in JUNE, not sure if i should. what do you guys think? does anyone know the implications of doing so? Also, when they do request your passport how long they have it for?

I called CIC call center again today regarding my application status but like always they were unable to find it in their system. According to the Canada Post tracking, they had received our file on Jan 18th, 2012. Surprisingly though, they asked me what my spouse name was and his date of birth. Once I confirmed the name and date of birth, the call center agent said they can see spouse's name in the system, but nothing about the application. Even the call center agent was surprised how is this possible and he just said that he will message CIC regarding an update and to call back in about 2 weeks.
Can you guys have shed any light into this situation?

This supports my theory that a lot of this is computer problems and files have been seen there is just no digital record. |

hey guys! The super loooooonngggg wait is over for us.  We received an Email From CIC March 29,2012 that our papers was forwarded to Manila for Processing. We waited almost 70 days to received it.. pray pray pray and pray for those of you who are still waiting.....! Congratulations!!!! Could you please share with us when your application was received at CPC? |

Thanks in advance the same thing happened to us! they could find a "partial record" for me, but not my husband (the sponsor). within another week or two we called back one or two more times, and got more info each time. so just keep calling, and they will find you! |

My husband got sponsorship approval!!!  We just called and spoke with Nelly who said he was approved, and the application sent to Buffalo. She said they mailed a letter on 3/28/12. I started crying, I am so relieved!! Now the earliest January for Buffalo will be in green too!! |
