I GOT MY APPROVAL! I don't mean to rub it in for those of you still waiting...but 70 days for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to call them tonight...spoke with Tanya and she was the nicest so far. She told my I was approved March 9th...exactly 2 months after we applied. She said that I should receive an email and sometimes they send it 5 days after approval...so... So happy and feel such relief! Thanks to everyone and good luck to those still waiting  CONGRATS!!! |

I'm Sponsoring my Wife From El Salvador, we sent the Aplication was received on the 11 of January and we received aor email on Feb 21st .

Thanks to all those who posted details of their calls to CIC. It inspired me to do the same - the agent couldn't find any record of my file but suggested I try again next week. At least I came away with my (sponsor's) ID number - yay for small victories!

Thank you all for your congraturlations and your support! It is a big relief to hear of approval! Now I just need it in writing I asked if it had gone to Vienna VO and she said it was "in process" but is usually sent within a few days of approval. Step one done Good luck to those still waiting! |
