we sent the complete kit Jan 12 as per Canada Post, it was received Jan 16 as per the e-mail, Jan 17 i hope the sponsorship approval will come soon! |

I hope you all here something soon! Especially you Gemini! Did they give you any new info when you phoned them now that they have updated the processing time?
And to anyone worried because they haven't rec'd AOR, dont worry too much. Maybe they are supposed to send one to everyone, but I am proof that they do not always lol. I really think it must just depend on the agent who processes your application.
Fingers are crossed for some movement for our group this week!

Hi all. I just wanted to ad my info in here, since I am in the same boat as a few of you! I am from Los Angeles, and my husband is from Vancouver. Our app was received in Mississauga on Jan 5, 2012. We have not yet received an AOR or sponsor approval. ECAS won't let us log in using our receipt number. Visa office is Buffalo. Please ad me to the spread sheet! Hoping to hear something soon, getting nervous  |

Welcome to the thread (we've been expecting you) kidding Hope you hear something soon! You should call tomorrow and talk to someone, see what's going on. When you call and you hear the machine. just go 1-1-1-1-0 and you'll be in queue to talk to an agent in seconds. |

AND dr x yes it IS realistic that so e people don't receive AOR, look a my spreadsheet!
I love the movement were seeing...an approval email or letter would be the most perfect end to the week and the best gift to take to my husband on my visit next Thursday!

I love flying on planes.. but it will be much different when it's not because I have to take care of immigration things and alf+jlh.. I told that to the guy i called at CIC.. I mentioned our forum and how some of us are getting AOR's and some aren't... i was like "Yo.. wuss up wit dat?" hehe and he said that everyone is supposed to be sent an AOR.. they're supposed to do it.. but who knows about their computer system.. last week they didn't even update what day they were working on.. it was flashing back from Feb 29- March 3 (or whatever those days were) every single time i was refreshing the screen yesterday. I'm going back for several more 12 hour shifts (so they days will go by quick)... have a safe flight down to Florida and have fun! |

Dont get me wrong, i love going to see my husband but i cannot wait to be able to take a normal vacation WITH him Unfortauntly im one of those victims of Direct Airs negligence...i lost a return ticket home next sunday and a round trip in April. Luckily i was flying down there on a different air line so i quickly snagged a return home with them on sunday - but not without having to pay an additiona $70 and sacrifce 12 hours with my husband on Sunday. UGH. Im really hoping i get approval before i go... i need some good news to come my way! Good luck with the long hours... i can relate, sort of, i work two jobs...but you are right it helps to pass the time. take care, ttyl |

I am able to log in with that - but the receipt number still pulls up nothing. Go figure..lol |
