My husband and I are the other Buffalonian! Watching you guys too  Yep I knew there was one more person, just forgot your user name! I know we have a long wait ahead of us but I'm glad we can specifically be there for each other. I feel really good about our January group! K it's bachelor finale time... Can't miss this! Lol I can say, I'd rather date long distance and go through this process the have to choose a husband from a pool of 30 men! Plus those bachelor and bachelorette relationships never ever last! |

OMG!!! Thank you all so much for telling me it would be ok!! I got Approval today!!! What amazing timing, I am actually here in Canada visiting for Sprng Break. It came traditional postal mail. We never got anything via email and no AOR. Just the approval letter in the mail. The letter is dated March 6th. So relieved this first part is over.  And hope and patience to you all waiting - we did provide an email address but I guess whoever processed it likes the old fashioned way. We can't log into ecas yet but we now have a client ID number! Thank you all sooo much for your support! Congrats! Great news and a great start to the week! |

Seriously, thanks again for your positivity. You and several of the others have helped keep me sane for this stretch. Now for the long haul! I am sure yours will turn up shortly. Mine is dated exactly 2 months from the date my application arrived, but only showed up today. Wohooo I will be happy to see a change by name finally! on that spreadsheet! lol
yaaaaay u seeeeee, congrats.... glad we kept u sane  now u r on the other side of the fence, waiting for all of us to jump too OMG why by mail, didn't they all hear of email yet? if we get it by mail we would wait maybe 2 extra weeks  (we had to put outside Canada mailing address); it will b nerve testing indeed....but maybe not, maybe most use emails a very nice start of the week, hope it will b even more active: Amanda, Gemini, get ready  |

It took the letter a full week to get here from when they made their decision. And I think they only update ecas once a week so even if they have made a decision on it may just not be posted yet. Hang in there! At least you are in the system for sure, so you can phone them once they update the processing time, if you haven't heard anything. I hope that my news was the start of decisions rolling out this week for everyone! |

Congrats podkayne8! happy for you... In anticipation, waiting for the site to be updated.. my husband had applied for my in laws sponsorship in year 2010, which ofcourse will take time.. he has the same client ID, on which i keep checking, if there is any status updated... is it correct to check on same client ID... or for my sponsorship, a different client ID.. will be created.... cant wait to hear some good news.... have no clue, on what applications, they working on.... our's was received on 13th jan... again, good luck to all.. best wishes |

just got an update checking ecas, application status is changed to " In process" , it says that my application for sponsorship is received on jan03, 2012 and VO has received it on March 8 ,2012 , So that means it is received by ANKARA on MAR 08. Hopefully they start to process it soon.  I wished |

alf+jlh I just noticed on your spreadsheet that your app was received by CIC-M on the same day as mine (Jan 10th) and we are both hoping to move on to Buffalo! I will definitely be following your progress. As far as I can tell, we have different agents though-- your AOR was sent out much earlier-- but we have yet to hear anything else. What does your e-cas say? ps- how was the Bachelor? lol |
