No, I haven't been able to. I tried with both numbers they gave me in the e-mail (and with both my and my husband's names/birthdays) and still nothing. you? |

I see that the CIC e-cas site says: The Client Application Status site is updated weekly, usually on Tuesdays.
So maybe we won't be able to see our status until Tuesday anyway. Oh well, just knowing that they have it will suffice for now!

I am so worried! Perhaps I am just being negative but we have not had good luck so far (see my FBI clearance threads! lol)...I am so stressed out everyone has heard something by my date. At this point I would be happy to hear they just have our app, even if we are missing something! I saw a story on this site - about someone who had their entire application lost. By the same person who signed for mine...  I am probably being over worried, but this is my Life. It is difficult not to worry. Blick. I am sorry to be negative! I am so happy for all who have heard something! Truly I am just scared and frustrated and when we call, we get no info other than what is on the site. |

Truly I am just scared and frustrated and when we call, we get no info other than what is on the site. aaah don't worry!!!! not everyone gets AOR  wouldn't it b even better to get the sponsor approval directly?  let's say by next week ooooor MAYBE they could even sent it by post - so add a few more days of waiting....and again MAYBE just like they did for Gemini they actually recorded that they received ur application a few days later than what u thought yeah some applications r lost but i think if we sent by courier and there's the courier proof it's not lost, just misplaced...with lots of pushing and shouting they will finally "find" it (i do know someone who did like that) but it's way too early to think like that...i read abt someone in Decemeber still waiting  (the application is still in process and there's nothing wrong, just a sloooooow officer) at least for u it's clear that someone signed it; for me on the courier website it appears "signed by mailroom", no real person....(see the first pages with my complaints)...i still have a few weeks more until i can maybe think less and sleep better have a nice weekend!! |

I totally understand what you are feeling; I just felt it only days ago. All I can say is that odds are on your side. for the one person on here that complained about it getting lost there seem to be hundreds of people who just complain about how slow CIC-M is. I would definitely bet that you just got a slow officer. And my advice is that if you still haven't heard anything by Wednesday (and presumably they have moved on from Jan 3rd apps), you get on the phone and make sure you get an answer. BTW, I don't know who signed for yours, but mine was D. Sadowski. Maybe it was the same? This is such a nerve racking experience. I really wish they were more consistent with the AOR's, just to put our nerves at ease... but in the meantime, you have a support group here, and I think I can speak for more than just myself when I say that I am sure it is only a matter of time before you hear something. |

I can't imagine being away from my husband for even just 13 days. :S I really feel for you... and the others in that situation. Can I ask, what the reason is for the two of you to be apart? I assume its so you both can continue working in your respective countries?
In our case I was granted an 18 month visitor visa so we could stay together during the application process... but to my surprise it has been very hard to find an employer who is willing to apply for a work permit on my behalf, or even knows how to. Expensive vacation. :S
Yah it's work related... We're waiting to move into our condo that's being built, 4 years in the making, coincidentally that's the same time our relationship has had time to grow anyway we both need to work in order to financially be able to do this, move, sponsor, condo, etc... It sucks but it's what we know so as much as we hate it we are surviving. Its going t be extra sweet when we finally get through this whole process, I can't wait to wake up to him every morning, but more than that I'm excited for future plane rides to be with him on vacation. Poor Florida airports have soaked up one too many of my tears. |

It says on eCAS: "sponsorship application status: in process" "permanent residence application status: application received" "We received your application to sponsor -FIREFLY- on January 11, 2012. We started processing your application on March 7, 2012." Still no email or letter from immigration, but this is even better in a way. |

Awesome, I got AOR yesterday but when i try to login nothing shows up may be it takes some time. There are two things UCI and Application no. which i received. How r u trying to login using ur application no. / UCI ID. Ru sponsor or application? |
